    My Player freeze on startup???

Anyone having issues with My Player freezing when loading from the home screen? As soon as i try to launch it says loading and just locks up, have to restart the Xbox to get it to respond.

Works fine when loading from the menu, only locks when selecting the my player icon on the right of the home screen. Tried clearing hard drive cache, deleting settings (which cost me the completions in the NBA greatest mode but at least the teams are still unlocked) and tried a different Xbox and nothing worked.

    Thanks in advance.

When you press the 'My Player' panel, and it freezes, you can shut your console off...nothing will be deleted. Than, just restart the game, and once you hit the main menu do not hit the 'My Player' panel. Press the back button, and a little bunch of options should come up on the bottom-left corner. Select 'My Player' and click 'Load' and select the file you want to load.

    Hope this helped.

Appreciate the reply. I figured that out. That's what I meant by it loading fine from the menu in my original post. I'm just wondering why it won't load from the home screen. Don't know if it is a issue affecting multiple people or just with my individual game.

It hasn't been fixed, and it's affected at least most XBOX users from my knowledge...

I have the same problem. We will just have to wait I guess to see if it is resolved.

I know this is weird but this happened to me a few weeks ago on the PS3.

THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME THIS THREAD MADE MY DAY...I PERSONALLY THINK IT ONLY AFFECTS PEOPLE WITH XBOX 360 4GB FLASH DRIVES BECAUSE OF MEMORY ETC.

This happened to me on my PS3 (custom 320GB HDD) a couple times. Both times it eventually went away. I noticed during the times that I couldn't load from the Home screen that I wasn't connected to 2k servers either. It wouldn't show my 2k Rank (Hall of Fame) in the lower left and it wouldn't show how many people were online either. Both times, once these things returned to normal, I was able to load from the Home screen again.

So now, my general rule of thumb is to look at the lower left hand corner of the Home screen. If I see my 2k Account name and rank down there, I load everything from the Home screen. If I don't, I do "manual load" using menu list. I haven't had any problems since.
