Re: New Passing System Question
It's EA...
It all depends on your expectations
me personally, just think that however bad last years was, EA has made it worse. I've found that specific approach gives me the least amount of headaches.Comment

Re: New Passing System Question
Nothing less than perfection obviously. I can already tell I won't read one complaint on this feature in the coming weeks, months, year.Comment

Re: New Passing System Question
It's far too early to say one way or another. We cannot say what it looks like, because we have absolutely NO clue what this new passing system will be. Anything otherwise is simply speculation.
Anyone expecting a new passing system to instantly become the best football mechanic ever is setting themselves up for disappointment. The best anyone can do is simply be patient and wait. I also don't have much appetite for EA bashing.Comment

Re: New Passing System Question
Expect them to throw some glitter on the pile of crap that was the passing game last year and call it new and reinvented.<O

Oh and don’t forget they will have to send out at least 2 patches to fix what new and reinvented passing game screwed up. But hey we have 3D grass, Super Duper lighting, and people blur when they run. AWESOME! <O

Re: New Passing System Question
It's complete speculation but based on FIFA's Vision system in pro player intelligence and that brief mention of read and react defense for NCAA 13, I am expecting a less linear passing system. Meaning, the intended receivers and defenders will no longer be tethered or reacting to the button press for a pass but actually have an in-game mechanic for "seeing"/tracking the football and other players.Comment

Re: New Passing System Question
That'd be a good start. Throw in better pass speeds/trajectories, route-based passing, WR/DB jostling, more aggressiveness in going after the ball by WRs, and eliminate super-human cuts/acceleration/warping/jumping by the defenders and we might finally have a good passing game. It's complete speculation but based on FIFA's Vision system in pro player intelligence and that brief mention of read and react defense for NCAA 13, I am expecting a less linear passing system. Re: New Passing System Question
I don't get it either...you're allowed to not like the product, that's cool. If you don't like the product don't buy it. But if you're gonna bash it without any real basis from THIS YEAR'S product, there's no place for that here. All we've really been shown is a promising base to build upon in future games with the sounds. So yeah EA has done stuff in the past, so what? Dirk always came up small in the big games until last year, he shut people up real quick about that when he was given the chance to prove himself. Cool off guys, give them a chance to right their wrongs and build a good foundation. That's why the games aren't great right now, right? We all can agree the foundation for this gen wasn't good to start with...so why when they try to put in a solid foundation are you bashing them? Do you want them to throw that away too? I'm just dumbfounded by all the incoherent nonsense I've been reading from people.
Lol Broncos, feels like we're fighting a losing battle...even if we should be in the right.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:
