Re: Madden NFL 13 Screenshot - Adrian Peterson and Brian Urlacher
Player models look pretty much the same.
The grass does not look real at all.
The sidelines are still dead.
Could be the are just holding off on showcasing this year's upgrades until they release the presentation stuff. This shot was only to show off the new uniforms.Comment

Alright. This is what I'm going to do. First off I am going to comment on what I see in the screenshot and then use it as an opportunity to talk about ridiculous things that Madden does visually in a polite manner.
Ok. Can someone please tell me why...Brian Urlacher has a glove on him that no on in the NFL has worn in 3-4 years and if not that then longer. I truly hope that this is just what EA has come up with so far. I wouldn't think it would be the final touch anyway.
Another thing is that this game did a not do very good job trying to articulate actual player models last year. Players that had contracts with adidas wouldn't even wear the cleats they originally wore. They had on those high top snow boot like adidas (lol sorry but I had to laugh on this one). And for those under armour cleats: "get em' outta here"...please?
In my biased opinion I think the variety of equipment should be like variety of shoes you could chose from in the NBA live games. That would be pretty cool. Instead of being limitted to the hand me down like equipment on Madden we coudl have a "unique" variety of things to choose from. I'm just putting it str8. To be honest I more than likely won't buy the game for a 2nd year in a row but "If" people actually start to talk about this game like it has made a "MAJOR" improvement, then I'm not getting it. Those are just a couple of visual outlooks I can give as a former football player and current football fan. I'm sure the game community would agree that it would be nice to have things things.Comment

Yeah...imagine if they put as much effort into making the game fun as they do with ensuring that the "stitching" on the uniforms is correct...I for one will never pause the game, zoom in, and bask in the glory of every detail of the uniform...I simply don't care, makes no difference to me....as far as I'm concerned, the graphics and graphical details are good enough. What isn't good enough is the game play.Comment

... Gosh I hate to say it but nothing seriously you looks upgraded!? Am I wrong for saying that?Comment
