Re: NCAA Football 13 Interview - Sights and Sounds
they apparently just didn't answer the questions, i didn't listen i went by the transcript OS layed out. So i'm assuming only the ones that have been in there are there once again. So that means no Met Life stadium? What about Yankees Stadium? They just seemed to completely ignore that part of the question and there was no follow up or mention of it again after that.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Interview - Sights and Sounds
Amazing how they don't answer questions...
"Are any of the new stadiums included? What about pro stadiums, which could be used as neutral site games?"
So where is the answer about the Pro Stadiums? You have them all in Madden, why are we missing them from NCAA as Neutral game sites?
Lots of "hopefully next year" in this interview so when EA wonders why people didn't buy the game we can tell them "hopefully next year"
EA SPORTS...if its in the game, it will be next year...hopefully."Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

It's a little early to be throwing the word "naive" around, imo. Now, after E3 when people are posting about how things will be tuned better and "they got alot up their sleeve", then naive is the perfect description. lolComment

The reason a playable Broadcast Cam will not be UNLOCKED is because of the up close visuals (grass, lighting on uni's etc...) they pat themselves on the back as being innovative in 2012
and
Any type of pulled back cam would reveal how much they've purposefully neglected the sidelines and fans in the stands visually (not much difference than Sega Genesis Madden).
Madden has attempted an upgrade to these areas, that's why it's in Madden and not NCAA.
Ever notice how they never say/describe how something is different from their last release?
It's just we've done this.
Got to pull a tooth to get some depth to their answer.
I don't care what anyone says, that tells me your not as confident in what you've done!
When we've done something that we're truly proud of, we go to great lengths to let people know and want to showcase the in's/out's of why we believe it's so good.
See how they go into great length to describe their Mascots and Team Entrances (esp FSU) injections before anyone ever asked a question?
Guy even smiles from ear to ear because he's proud of that work.
True ESPN Presentation, TV style camera views, sidelines and fans in the stands are "Area 51" subjects.

What's up, guys. I'm new here, so I'm looking to get involved around here quickly.
Overall, I thought the interview just answered a lot of questions that were addressed in the webcast. I'm still wondering why they're ducking the trophy presentation question though.
Also, I noticed something in the interview that sounded...intriguing, at best.
Now, I may just be reading too much into that, but it caught my eye the first time I read it, and it got me wondering...
Overall, I thought the interview was good, even though they ducked some questions. I'm still wondering who the mystery commentator will be, though I'm betting it's Rece Davis. All eyes on 4/17 now...Comment

The best part is if you go back and look, audio was a huge focus last year and I even remember a sample being played. When the game came out it was worse than ever. I can't speak for the gameplay, but the audio was praised before and was still ****.

I think I've lost all excitement for NCAA 13. All this "new" crap is just fluff. Its gonna be a disappointing July. How about EA goes out & hire people that actually CARE about college football & authenticity!! This "Oh, it didnt make it in this year" bull is driving me to the edge.PS5 PSN: MellowTheMyth | Xbox Series Gamertag: MelloTheMythComment

Originally posted by mm boostI swear, it gets so old hearing about 85% of the users on her constantly bashing EA and posting all this negative garbage every single time they post. Jesus Christ, give it a rest already. Some of us, contrary to popular belief, actually enjoy this game for what it is - oh the madness!. Get over yourselves. If you hate the game so much, why even come in here and waste time out of your life to bitch about a $60 video game? It is incredible the amount of negative people we have in here, and it is no wonder that the devs hardly interact with us anymore. I, for one, really enjoy what EA gives us each year and I look forward to the the news coming out each year on the new game. Call me naive, but I am an optimistic person, I live my life this way, and believe it or not, I have a lot of positive results from it. Maybe you guys should try it sometime...i promise, it won't hurt.
No one is preventing you from enjoying the game or expressing that you enjoy the game. If you look at these boards at the posts that are positive about the game, those people aren't bashed or attacked for saying they enjoy it. If they enjoy it that's great for them. But as you can already tell the majority on here are far from satisfied.
If you don't want to see so many unhappy people voicing their feelings and opinions, i don't know if this is the right place. Understand we want this game to be better, but when it comes to listening to them in the interviews and seeing what they are coming up with, we've all seen and heard it before and we're just tired of the same thing... try to sell us on all this glitter but fail on the substance and then the game comes out and we need patch after patch and all the sudden they disappear until its time to do it over again next year.

"WHAT CHOO TALK'N ABOUT WILLIS?"
Ask them about camera angles, NFL stadiums, teambuilder, or something that they either didn't add or work on much and they'll try to shy away from it as much as possible or avoid the subject altogether. Ask them about team entrances, the sky changing or mascots/cheerleaders and they can talk for days.
That list of the back of the box features are going to be what you hear from now till release. So get ready to listen about entrances, lighting, crowd sounds/studio analyst, passing, heisman mode and road to glory.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Interview - Sights and Sounds
Honestly, and I mean this with upmost respect to everyone's wishlist for all the small nuances...crowd noise fixes and commentary and noises in general are nice...but let me find out no added pass interference or even penalties as a whole being tuned and no special teams being fixed...and I mean formations, returns, blocks, fakes, AI at least TRYING a coffin corner...then i will be done, worse yet I will lobby for everyone I know to not get it either. I am sure the Texas cowgirls are very nice...along with USC song girls...but if that made it and penalties and special teams didn't...done."Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

Not sold on this game at all. The gameplay improvements need to be SUBSTANTIAL for me to purchase this game.
The way games are broadcast on TV there are always tons of stat overlays and everything. I see NO REASON why starting line-ups or a coaches record can't be shown during the pre-game at the least.
They have the ESPN license they need to add the ESPN bottom line as well as the starting line-up package that ESPN shows every single game. This game should look more like a ESPN game than a EA sports game if that makes any sense lol.Comment
