    Redsfan's PitchFX Rosters

These are based off of the Spring Training set, so while the transactions might be a week behind, I've edited every pitchers repertoire to match what they throw in real life, based on PitchFX data. I've also included info from the repertoire thread for some unique cases (see Felix Hernandez, Tim Lincecum, Roy Halladay, etc.) I've also verified that no minor leaguers that throw 95 mph also have a 79 mph change up. So these rosters are perfect for RTTS's.

They are in the vault, my PSN is BEasy17. Enjoy, these took me a week to complete!

Sounds great. Thanks alot for doing this.

Is this strictly repertoire? Or were motions changed as well?

Repertoire. I didn't get into pitching motions, though might with my next set.

Thank you. I was hoping someone made a roster set with pitch edit changes. I'll download them tonight. I played an exhibition game last night against the Giants and Lincecum was throwing 97 MPH. He hasn't thrown 97 in years. It'll also be good to see not everyone throwing a 4-seam fastball as their primary pitch especially guys who's primary fastball are sinkers and two-seamers.

I had Lincecum at 93+ in game..so he should top out around 96. Might see 97 occasionally I guess I haven't really faced him yet..hm might do it now just to check it out.

I just played a 3 inning quick game against him. Fastball ranged from 91-96, but his best pitch is that split. Pretty much acts as a change up, good luck hitting that thing.

                  Hey Red,

Great job..... I know you used the osfm and that is fine for me....but wondering if you were able to make some of the same adjustments they did on OSFM opening day....thanks.

I am pretty sure those guys will be doing PitchFX edits at some point..I think last year they were out around Memorial Day if memory serves me correctly.

is there a spreadsheet for the pitch edits for people who want to use the opening day roster or no?

I am confused about Kershaw. Why is he given an 83 mph Slurve? Kershaw's changeup should be a circle change. Kershaw should have a 12-6 curve instead of a sweeping curve.

Trevor Cahill should have a Slider.

Yu Darvish has pretty much the same speed on his 2SFB as his 4SFB, 4SFB, SL, 2SFB, Curve, Cutter (89.9 mph).

These edits were not perfect I assure you. All the pitch types for the pitchers are for the most part, correct..but there are some details that I missed in my first set. Thanks for the feedback, I will look over some data on Kershaw and address it in my next update. Also great work to the guy who put the 25 man rosters up!

I never expected perfection. All one has to do is look at the default pitch ratings and compare There were more edits I found that needed adjustments, and I just made the changes. I wasn't thinking of making a list because there was no reply to my post...until now.

Anyway, thanks for doing it! I think it's much better than the default and gives me a base to work on with less work

One thing I should add is when looking at your user name, I thought you would be biased for the Reds, but no, you seem very fair with the Reds.
