These guys are simply the best. Everything i saw that needed to be fixed has been addressed in this patch. What takes some developers 4 months to address, we get in just over 1 month, unreal.

I wouldn't call it "unreal" lol, MLB 10 and 11 both had patches 2 weeks after release date, NHL has always had a patch 2-3 weeks after release.

5 weeks (if you read around) is actually a pretty long wait. I'm not sure what games you're talking about where you have to wait 4 months for a fix. Sports games run on a 12 month cycle, 4 months would be absolutely "unreal".

It's certainly not inappropriate or solely provocative to ask about updating to the new playoff system. Some of us haven't been following the issue closely and have been waiting for Sony to update everyone regarding the first patch. Not having the proper playoff system in place, while not an acute oversight given the circumstances, is still something worth questioning.

Beat me to it. I'm not upset about the playoff thing by any means, but I think a user certainly has the right to ask about it.

And I don't know about anyone else, but the "sense of entitlement" I have, I paid 60 bucks for.

Target Field is leading The Show history in receiving cosmetic corrections via patches, yet again proving to the naysayers that stadiums can indeed be patched if the issue is minor enough. (but not something major like adding the new scoreboard/party section at Wrigley; that big stuff does have to wait for the next year's game, of course.)

Not sure how you can patch a game adequately BEFORE you get the whole community feedback. There were a lot of bugs and like I said, I still don't see the catcher freeze listed.

Most games release to the public, get feedback and patch things 2-3 weeks after.

Isn't there a release day patch every year? There was certainly one for MLB 10, but I can't remember last year, and I wasn't around for any of the launches before MLB 10.

Often there is, but the bottomline is that for both 10 and 11 patches were 2 weeks later, not 5 weeks.

Anyways, glad there's a patch, hope the frozen catcher is included.

Sorry I'm extremely excited. I stopped reading about all of the improvements when I saw

1. Schedule times fixed
2. Pitch Delay speed fixed
3. Target Field sign now lights up all the time at night

I cannot say how happy I am! Thank god I waited on starting my franchise. Leave it to SCEA to announce the patch notes the day before it comes out. I like it that way. It makes the wait time very short!

I don't really see why wanting specific things fixed makes you seem to be carrying a sense of entitlement.

Saying 'I bought this game and X,Y,Z isn't in and thats unacceptable' is entitlement, asking if/why/when X,Y,Z would be patched isnt.

I would've loved to see the correct playoff format in the game, I can understand why it can't be patched in though. This is still the best baseball game on the market, I've spent more time on MLB 12 than I had on 2K11 and 2K10, and I've had 12 for four days.

Trade logic is a big thing, I've seen Pujols on the trading block in May of year 1. That's a bit ridiculous. I also don't get why trades at full interest are being rejected but, that might just be something I'm missing since I'm new to the series.

Hopefully some more gameplay and franchise fixes in the upcoming months. (I'd like to be able to sort by level AND position, not either/or.)

Looks good but I have to ask, did they fix the (sometimes) flipped outfielder depth logic? Sometimes out fielders played shallow for power hitters with no reason to. It's as if the logic was some how flipped. This is the only thing I'm concerned about now.

This...I have had times where guys like Seth Smith are up and I hit a line drive barely over a leaping 2nd baseman and the RF is somehow there to make a diving catch...other times I have Coco Crisp up and the OF is playing deep (and no - not in the late inning to prevent a double)...

Good question! I know that at the very least, the pop fly bug occurred on both versions.
