I write this hoping, praying I'll be wrong when the TB site drops... I've been a huge fan of CAS and TB since the beginning... I was stoked the first year TB was released. I spent hours on it... With the minimal updates the last few years that time has been has been lowering.

I thought for sure the Sights and Sounds web cast would be where we'd get TB info... I'm getting the feeling it'll be another year of minimal changes... Again I hope I'm wrong... TB still has a LOT of potential....

i couldn't agree more. When they announced Teambuilder i looked to it as revolutionary. Now we can do all the editing on a website and add our own logos and things and it just made life so much easier for creating the teams. I was ok with it the first year even without certain things that were missing i just figured they'll improve on it next year.

Well next year arrives and there is the most minimal change possible. Huge letdown. A lot of the stuff they add can be viewed as gimmicks or fluff but this is one feature that has so much potential that they basically have decided to ignore since they added it. Just like with Custom Stadium sounds, it's like they added it just to get people off their backs and then just forgot about it.

Why not let us add teambuilder teams to replace the FCS teams in dynasty mode? Why not let us add more than 12 teams so we can really make things the way we want? Where are the extra sock options? Where are the team colored accessories? Where are the shoe contracts? Where are the new jersey/helmet/pant designs? Why are we limited to 1 home 1 away alt when teams these days have many more combos? I can go on and on but the fact is this is one of the features i looked forward to the most and EA complete fell flat with it.

Like you said, i highly doubt ANYTHING was done to improve Teambuilder which is embarassing. They are more concerned with adding a Heisman mode that most people won't even play than improving on something that many people use.

I couldnt agree any more with you! Ever since the next-gen (our current gen) came out with no CAS I had been waiting.... waiting.... and waiting for some form of CAS... Then we got info about TeamBuilder and I couldnt believe it!! They put my ideas for a CAS to shame and surprised me.. And ever since then the mode keeps letting me down... I mean I still get on and make a team here or there but it always ends up the same... I end up not liking the team I made because it looks similar to a past team I made... I get bored... I stop using it for a while...

Jersey its funny how all the orignal guys on here like you and I hardly post in this TB section and on the logo helper... If you scrolled down to the beginning pages of that thread our names would be all over it... Now... not so much... heres to holding out hope for an improvement this year....

hopefully they actually make some improvements. I wish they would add where you create your own custom entrance but doubt they will.

Supplier logos definitely need to be added (Nike, adidas, Under Armour, etc), also the option for more helmets & pants need to be added to, especially w/ a lot of teams these days having multiple helmet/jersey/pant options.

I feel like the last two years have seen us, the fans innovate more than the mode itself. Meaning, many of us have become better at creating logos, working with the few uni combos they give us and building our teams, particularly the FCS guys who thankfully sweat over roster numbers every year. In those two years, from a production standpoint, we've only gotten what, a chest Text Field and a handful of new faces both with and sans dreads? My excitement now comes only from seeing how much better I've gotten at Photoshop and Gimp and how my new creations will show up in-game. Hopefully there have been some cool editions this year (choose rival, two extra uni options, entrance style, generic mascot,etc.)...but I won't be shocked if the background screen on the site just changes to Red and the domain link changes again.

I would honestly be VERY surprised if they added or made any changes to TB. It is obvious TB is very low on the totem pole of priorities, and they have enough problems getting other aspects of the game to work correctly. It is no surprise they never have the resources to work on it.

If all they did was allow for a few more pieces of uniform (Maybe 3 Helmets, 6 Jerseys, and 3 pants) I'd be happy. Also, we shouldn't need a white alternate if we don't want one.

I would like to see the option for using another color for the 2nd alternate, instead of a white-based theme.

Also, why can't we edit the towns & states that the players are from, & make them redshirts, or not.

For some schools I had to edit two version of the helmet logos in Photoshop (to make the mascots face forward &, in some cases warp the text). So, I upload two logos for left & right sides of teh helmet, & I am done. So, while they are at it, add the option for extra logos.

More jersey & pants design options.

Some better, SMALL, generic FCS-type stadiums.

More logo placement options on the field (maybe allow logos in the endzone).

Fix the pixilation & color bleed in stripes, jersey & endzone text.

How about a "Create a mascot" mode? (Not needed, but just a thought.)

I tend to make and edit teams more than I actually play the game, and though I'd like to see alot of stuff added to TB, I'd be satisfied if they just gave us more roster options; edit equipment, redshirts, home town/state.

I think that would be huge. But I'm guessing it will be another year of absolutely nothing.

At the very least we should be able to make the same edits in Teambuilder that we can for actual teams in game: redshirt status, hometown, equipment, colored shoes, etc. It's kind of pointless to recreate an actual team if players redshirt status is completely random.

It would be nice if EA would add the authentic helmet logos for each FCS team. Quite a few FCS logos are outdated or were never used as helmet logos at all.
