The question should be, have you watched any basketball THIS season?

You're kidding right? Aldridge is better than Amare in almost every way possible this season. Amare is absolutely ATROCIOUS on defense and hasn't been the same on offense. No reason for Amare to have a better rating than Aldridge as of right now.... absolutely no reason.

No player art updates? Hmmm. I'm surprised. I thought for sure that 2K would include some in this update. *sarcasm*

I don't see how Kevin Garnett deserves a ratings boost when all he does is sit at the perimeter waiting for a pass and taking open jumpers. His play has not improved over the course of the season. And Rondo hasn't exactly proved he's an improved 3 point shooter. How many 3s has he hit in the last 5 games? Because if he deserves to be a C+ then I think Pau Gasol does too.

Are u high or what? Aldridge has a better post up game than Amare and yes his D is better "pause", but Amare is more of a threat. He has a better jump shot, plus his team is in the playoffs. Aldridge may be having a better season this year but what about past years? U guys forget who Amare is. Aldridge is no way near a better scorer than Amare. All I give him is better defense. Did u forget what happened the last time N.Y. played Portland, 121-79. Amare had more pts and more rebounds. Respect it or check it.

Aldridge is the better shooter. And why are you living in the past? It's about this season, not how good a player was in his prime. Kobe used to be a great inside scorer. Obviously now he's older and has dealt with injuries so he isn't the same as he was years back. So you can't say he's a better inside scorer than say Russel Westbrook just because he may have been at one point in his career. Plus the Knicks didn't make the playoffs until they acquired Melo. The Blazers don't have anybody near Melo's talent to play alongside Aldridge.

ur buggin u cant just drastically drop a player s attributes because he's not having that great a season. Amare started the season higher than 83. He got dropped already Aldridge had Brandon Roy. This year they had Jamal Crawford, Gerald Wallace, Wesley Matthews, Batum, Felton yall have a great team. All Knicks really have is Stat n Melo. If we didnt get Melo last season we would have still made the playoffs, we were doin better b4 we got him. Stoudemire's stats r a lil lower than Aldridge this year not by much, plus Aldridge played more games and of course more min. Aldridge is the focal point of the team Amare is not, plus he been hurt alot.

Just last season Amare was number 6 in scoring on the season, Aldridge was 14. Stats dont lie, and for the record Kobe is a much better inside scorer than westbrook.

Well you could tell the Blazers wanted to start over and rebuild when they traded away everybody, including Gerald Wallace, so I'm sure they weren't determined to make the playoffs this year. They know they can't compete with the talent in the western conference and even if they were a playoff team, they wouldn't go very far, like the Knicks. And none of those players you named (except for Wallace who's not on the team anymore) are great scorers. Jamal Crawford's good but not great. Back on topic you can't deny if a player has regressed. Earlier this season Metta World Peace was shooting under 10% from downtown. Are you saying his 3 point ratings didn't deserve to go down because in years past he was a good shooter?

Artest never was a great 3pt shooter. If the knicks had Crawford, Batum, Wallace or Matthews we would b that much better. Those players are great at what they do. That team is terrific on paper. As far as the knicks go if the team is 100% healthy we could beat any team in the league, especially with Mike Woodson running things instead of D'antoni. As far as 2k12 is concerned they r altering the knicks all for the worst. They have downgraded everyone on the knicks even guys whom haven't been playing. Landry Fields and JR Smith deserved the downgrade they got, but Bibby, Walker did not. They havent even played enough to b downgraded. And Melo got lowered to a 69 close and a 78 inside c'mon the world knows thats bull. I haven't seen any team demoted like this and this is all after Linsanity

This has gotten too far-fetched. Comparing scenarios for each team isn't getting us anywhere. Ask anyone and they'll tell you Aldridge is the better player. I would have said he's the best power forward if it weren't for Kevin Love's MVP-caliber season. I don't disagree with a few rating drops, as long as they are nothing major. But I do not disagree with Aldridge having the higher overall.
