I'm with ya on the facemasks....this drives me nuts. I know, I know, I can edit it, but I'm not going to go in and edit every single QB's facemask in the game. I'm really OCD about equipment for my team (Pitt) in the game, and I spend hours and hours editing it until it's perfect, if someone is wearing something wrong it will drive me nuts.....stupid, I know. I don't care as much about other teams, but it's EXTREMELY annoying that at least 50% of the QB's in this game have some variation of the "robot" facemask, which I don't think I've ever seen a single real-life QB wear.

And, don't even get me started on the generated equipment as a dynasty progresses. Why are the "standard" Riddell and Schutt helmets even still an option on this game? I don't think a real FBS school has worn either at all in the last 3-5 years. The last team I remember wearing the standard Riddell's was VT, and they made a big deal about getting rid of all of them last year or the year before. So, why why WHY do 99% of generated players in dynasty mode come in wearing "standard" helmets, not to mention "standard" jersey sleeves, (again, can't recall any team, aside from QBs and kickers, having these giant-*** sleves in the past 5 years) 80s elbow pads, and huge shoulder pads. Ugh, all of this equipment just makes the game look completely unrealistic by the year 2014 or so in dynasty.

Ha I'm not quite as paranoid but that drove me batsh!t crazy last year. I spent a couple of hours shuffling through each team and editing the facemasks of starters and only the bench players that were underclassmen and probably going to start down the road.Ridiculous but probably done to avoid player likeness. Stuff like that pro-longs the rosters.

This looks EXACTLY like 12.

I see NO differences.

Same faded look, same model sizes, same equip layout, same ugly dreads, etc...

A shame because I think it could be a quality football game...

For those commenting about ball size: IIRC, EA already addressed that issue and said based on the game engine, the ball size could not be changed basically because the game was built around the ball size as it is now. Attempting to make the ball smaller would create a bunch of strange-looking empty space (sort of a force-field) around the ball.

So don't expect that to ever change, just one of those flaws you have to accept until and/or if things are ever redone.

I don't know why they even try all you guys do is nitpick. Its like an angry bitter woman who is constantly on her cycle. Don't get me wrong I've had my issues with the game. But some of you complain about everything.

What century do they plan on fixing the washed-out colors look? It's not impossible, because Madden has never had that problem.

Colors are wrong. It's a HUGE deal.
