So what rosters you using to start your franchise? I done started 3 franchise but end up restarting due to the new rosters. This are awesome roster to say the least. :-)

Can we tell which players on major league rosters got a boost in ratings, for those of us that already started a season or franchise?

With a 25 man roster set, can you do any call ups or send players down? It seems you are tied to only those 25 players, unless I'm mistaken.

        Thanks.

All a 25 man roster means is that there are only 25 men on the 40 man roster. You can add up to 15 more and call up or send down as much as you want.

Thanks for the update Ridin. Just a quick question, other than the player pack added and some corrections, what is in this update that wasn't in the original opening day set? Thanks.

I've begun editing OSFM v1.5 to have proper 40 man rosters...about halfway done so far...I'll add the 40 man version to the vault when I'm done for those that want it.

Also, while I work on that can someone provide a CAP for Alex Colome of the Rays? He's on the 40 man roster, but does not exist in MLB The Show.

Second, the White Sox only list 37 players on their 40 man roster, does anyone if they really have 37 players on it or if there are 3 other players on it that the White Sox are keeping secretive?

So in order to start a franchise we would have to send the players you added back down before spring training or is it vise versa? Also are you added the players that was on the 40 man roster on open day or currently.

Well, the latest OSFM roster only has 25 man rosters, so I'm adding the other 15 players that belong on the full 40 man roster. I'm doing it based on current (today) 40 man rosters.

When you start your new franchise with any roster, you can edit who you personally want on the 40 man roster from within franchise mode. However, if you remove them from the 40 man roster, they will have to go through waivers. Therefore, I suggest personalizing the 40 man roster prior to starting your franchise.

I started trying to do this and realized how long it was going to take me and gave up (I have two kids and very little video game playing time). Thank you so much for doing this... I like having the CPU teams make decisions on their own as to what lineup/rotation/call ups and send down's in my franchise.

Can anyone tell me the major potential changes between this and the spring training set? ( Like the B potential players and A potentials players changes. )

                              40 man roster notes:
As a result of missing players the 40 man rosters are short players.
Some teams just do not officially have their 40 man roster full.
Chicago White Sox only have 37 players listed on 40 man roster.
Kansas City Royals only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Minnesota Twins only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Oakland Athletics only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Atlanta Braves only have 36 players listed on 40 man roster.
Washington Nationals only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Chicago Cubs only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Houston Astros only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Arizona Diamondbacks only have 38 players listed on 40 man roster.
Colorado Rockers only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
Los Angeles Dodgers only have 39 players listed on 40 man roster.
San Francisco Giants only have 38 players listed on 40 man roster.

                              Moves within organizations:
Cleveland Indians: Moved Jose Lopez to MLB and Johnny Damon to AAA (Removed Damon from 40 man as he is not listed on it)
Detroit Tigers: Moved Brandon Inge to MLB and Danny Worth to AAA
Seattle Mariners: Moved Franklin Gutierrez to MLB, moved Mike Carp to AAA, sent Michael Saunders to AAA, sent Mario Yepez to Class A, sent Chris Pettit to Class A
Atlanta Braves: Moved Chipper Jones to MLB, moved Tim Hudson to MLB, sent Jose Constanza to AAA, sent Randall Delgado to AA, sent Jean Carlos Gil to Class A, and sent Stefan Gartrell to Class A
Washington Nationals: Moved Michael Morse to MLB, moved Drew Storen to MLB, sent Chad Tracy to AAA, sent Xavier Nady to AA, sent Josh Johnson to AA, sent J.R. Higley to Class A, and sent Tim Pahuta to Class A
Chicago Cubs: sent Marcos Mateo to AAA and removed him from 40 man roster, moved Rodrigo Lopez to MLB
Colorado Rockies: Moved Jorge de la Rosa to MLB, sent Drew Pomeranz to AA, and sent Chad Bettis to Class A
San Diego: Moved Tim Stauffer to MLB, sent Joe Weiland to AA, sent Rob Musgrave to AAA, sent Alex Hinshaw to AA, and sent Matt Andriese to Class A

                              Other Notes:
Included recent trade of Josh Bell from BAL to ARZ for player to be named (I choose Marc Krauss since ARZ is deep at OF)
Added 1B as secondary position for Corey Hart of MIL
Just a quick note on the Braves, RP Vizcaino is out for the season so he can be placed in Single A to make room for Delgado in AAA instead of AA.

I haven't had a chance to look yet, but has the Moyer in this version been updated to look like the one in the original Opening Day set or is he the generic looking SCEA one? Thanks.
