However the computer never seems to go for an impact block which leads entire games of no pancake blocks for your offensive line - which means you can never qualify for top offensive line awards each season. Have impact blocks as a whole been improved? I assume this switch is similiar in nature to the pass interference slider in the fact that since the mechanic simply isn't working correctly, the switch is basically "broken" .
IIRC, CPU-controlled linemen on your team would actually execute pancake blocks. The problem would be that the game wouldn't count and track the in-game pancake stats.

Did you notice if the CPU ran a true no huddle spread offense wich utilizes the time clock?as opposed to the warp speed no-huddle two-minut e offense that a spread or air raid CPU offense ran last year. Did the CPU still have FB's lining up a wr, and wr's lining up at RB when running the hurry up offense.?..Did EA add the look to the sidelines animation when the cpu is changing a play while running the no huddle offense as it seems this was taken out in 2012?. Finally does the CPU still hike the ball with 20 seconds left on the playclock or is time and clock management actually a factor this year?

My memory is pretty shaky on this, but I seem to remember a year where you could use L1/R1 to get just a very quick cut back type juke. Not severe, not a big change of direction, just a plant and cut back or bounce.

It might go back to the PS2 days, but I seem to remember having that and finding it incredibly useful. Just a very slight, controlled plant and accelerate through. Much easier to operate than the stick for a quick cut.

That was definitely the PS2/Xbox days. Madden 08(PC) has it, but I can't recall which year it was added, for either game.

I could of swore back in the day Madden or NCAA had the little 'quick juke' button move out of the backfied which let you slide through the holes. What ever happened to that?

Can we simply have a save option for anytime in the game. Also more camera options, just a little more zoomed then the default. Also, how about an option to take the score overlay off. Why do they need to cover the game play with it. I think I can figure out the score and I know who made the game, so I don't need an EA logo in my face.

I think it was maybe only one year of the series but I absolutely loved that. Could make a quick cut and accelerate through the hole or a quick plant and bounce outside behind a block and go. So streamlined and effective.

I've asked this same question a couple of times but not received a straight response. Because of that, I don't feel too confident about it being fixed. It's unfortunate because this is one of my biggest pet peeves of the game. It is all so unrealistic. Also, part of this question is the accelerated clock. Do we actually have one this year?

Preliminary impressions talk about how great this years version is so much better than any of the previous years; and then 2 weeks after release people start to realize it's a pig with lipstick
Yeah man, I was hoping that this would finally be the year that the preliminary impressions talked about how much the game really stunk and how awful it was. Well maybe next year!

Lol..actually I have experienced this enough to know that when they don't answer the question or selectively answer questions it usually means that it's not in ...It's frustrating but that's part of the cycle..so I would venture to say that an accelerated clock hasn't been implemented nor has the no-huddle/spread offense clock management been addressed. I hope I am wrong and if someone who has played the game knows the answer by all means please chime in...thanks!1
