Madden NFL 13 Presentation Impressions

This montage thing is crazy at halftime and it doesnt in noway represent what the NFL does at halftime. So why dont they just make a halftime show and be done with it. Last year was horrible and all they going too do is add alittle more camera angles and plays, what about analysis and stats breakdown?? These guys are out of touch and it shows. This generation is a lost and im hoping that next-gen we can get all that we desire from somebody.

For anyone that was wondering about this when they saw this lineup screen I just received a tweet from @Mysportsphotog when I asked him about having lineups tiered by their position. Glad they are fixing it this year

There was a stat overlay at halftime and they said the announcers would talk about the stats.

Plus, Fletch, Madden doesn't need to be 2k JR, they should be able to stand on their own, better late than never.

I liked what I saw with presentation. I really wasn't expecting a number of things to be introduced this year. I was kind of leaning on a NCAA only year but I don't know... my eyes and ears are open EA.

I think you are out of touch. Did you listen to the podcast? They said that Jim and Phil talk about the replays and break down the stats at halftime.

And just because there is no full blown halftime show, this generation is lost? I think the presentation is going to out do 2k5. I know it took 8 years but that isn't the point. They have finally outdone 2k5 and have set the bar, presentation wise.

After 8 years it should, but havent. Madden is not the standard, so dont get it twisted. It is the point that they are baby-stepping it with things and needs to be called out on it. They are getting better, but it wont be complete if any until next-gen consoles.

Go take your agenda elsewhere, we all know where the this game vs that game gets you, banned. Most of us are liking what we see and looking forward to seeing more, if you're not that's your opinion which you are entitled to, but give us an honest opinion not 2k fanboy bs.

And Ad, as I said a few post ago, Madden doesn't need to carbon copy 2k5 in every detail. Heck the mother of all presentation basketball games has stats and analysis.

Let's see how this all shakes out before we turn gloom and doom.

Uh-oh, just seen a vid of Phil and Jim in the same suits doing a Bears/Packers game as they are in that Niners game. EA can't do that, for real, if they are going to be showing these two in the booth each time we play a game. I HOPE those suits are just place holders to get out these first vids and the suits will be varied for each game throughout the season.

Some people will never be happy at whatever EA does. The game was great for its time and generation. The debate between the two games has gone on far enough just move on.

I hope so too, but not really banking on it. Remember 10 had the same clothes on what'shername throughout the season during the Extra Point.....
