does anyone know some good tips for drawing walks?

I get like 1 walk every 10 games. I try to take until i get a strike but playing against the CPU, its almost always a first pitch strike. Then i get into 0-1 0-1 1-2 counts very easy

Any advice on how to force yourself to stay patient?
