    Simming Lineups

How can you make it so that the AI uses the batting lineups you have created, instead of the ones they want during simming? The AI always changes up my lineups during simming and it is frustrating to say the least. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you SCEA, for adopting my ideas for a Playoff feature and eventually an 'online franchise'. No credit needed to be given... I am just happy you are working towards it...

Use sportscast manager, it might take a few minutes but at least you have total control over your team; you can even override CPU decisions.

I have used SportsCast in the past. Do you mean go into Sportscast and then fast-forward till the end? That's an idea.

        Re: Simming Lineups

This is something that bothers me as well. As complete and deep as this game is, I'm surprised that there is no way to have the computer retain your lineups when you sim through games.

I recently completed my first season in franchise, but only because I simmed the majority of the games after the all-star break (My M's were 25 games behind Texas going into the break, was just too brutal to watch). However, I noticed that the CPU continually wants to move my players around, and it's hard for me to read much into the stats at the end of the season when a player spends half the season leading off and half the season hitting 3rd or even cleanup.

yea, there needs to be a lock on lineups or something, or have it at least pop-up and ask you if you can replace a guy when he is tired during simming. To have to Sportscast every game seems tedious.

This is the only way I sim games. I don't sim very many, but it lets me still choose the lineups.
