YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
Maybe a little early for this, but I always enjoy the conversation and debate about what we will do with OUR conferences on OUR games. I didn't see a recent thread so I thought I'd start one. Even now, changes such as UTSA and LA Tech to the Conf USA are happening. What will you do for NCAA Football '13? Please feel free to add Teambuilder teams in as well...Tags: None -
Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
I will probably post some ideas tomorrow but mine will be assuming we can't dissolve conferences and that UTSA, Texas State, and UMass are in but South Alabama is not. This is what I've heard so I will base my templates off this but feel free to do dream scenarios for NCAA '14 as well... -
Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
I usually use my Iowa Tech team and put them in the Big 10 along with Minnesota State (Coach) to keep it even. Then I add ESU (The Program) and SCLSU (The Waterboy) to the SEC, and Texas State (Necessary Roughness) to the Big 12. I usually add TCU to keep it even but since they should already be there, I might go with Boise State.
But thats about the jist of my "norm"
With any luck, this year we'll be able to add 120+ TB teams, so I can do a FCS dynasty, and/or an all highschool dynasty...or all NAIA...or....I just hope you can replace all teams with TB teams.Comment

Haha YES the South Central Louisiana State University Muddogs!..if only you could create the Bourbon Bowl. I do hope that we have more than 12 teams we can replace with or better yet just add but I doubt the latter.I usually use my Iowa Tech team and put them in the Big 10 along with Minnesota State (Coach) to keep it even. Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
conference realignment loses a lot of its luster to me since the conference prestige isn't dynamic
it being dynamic or not this year will determine what my conferences look likeComment

This. This really needs to be in this year. Not a gamebreaker, but it would be a disappointment.Comment

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
Hopefully we can kill conferences like the WAC, I wanna add everyone in the game to appropriate conferences like SJSU and USU to the MWC and Idaho and NMSU to the Sun BeltNCAA #1: Nevada Wolf Pack
NCAA #2: UCLA Bruins
NFL: Denver Broncos
MLB: San Francisco Giants
NBA: Portland TrailblazersComment

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
I'm keeping Utah St. and San Jose St. in the WAC. I already had North Texas go to the WAC, so they're not moving. I will still move Louisiana Tech and FIU to C-USA.
Isn't this confusing?NCAA 14 - Eastern Michigan Eagles
Year 1: 11-3 (7-1 MAC) W over NU in Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl
Year 2: 0-0 (0-0 MAC)
Last Game: 24-17 W vs. Northwestern in the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl
NHL 13 - Columbus Blue Jackets
Year 1: 1-1-0
Last Game: 3-2 W @ MinnesotaComment

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment
I really love custom conferences. Im going to keep it real my first few dynasties. after a few months of playing the game, i usually start changing things up. When i change it up, it will probably be based on geographic location.6+5=7
