Being able to pause it a little bit is not what I'm talking about. When your busy and have kids and a family you play when you can. I don't always have an hour plus for a game. If I could play the first half then finish later in the day or even the next day. It's not like this is a new or rare thing to have in a game. Every other game I play from Mass Effect to NBA 2k12 have this feature. Again I will be getting this game and will like it. I just don't understand how everyone else but, EA has in game saves.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Will Not Feature In-Game Saves
Not at all. It's tougher and tougher for me to commit the hour or so to play a full game. I am strictly on offline dynasty player, and if I can't complete a game, why buy the game?
Again, this is a standard feature in just about every if not every non-EA Sports sports game release. No excuse not to have it any longer.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Will Not Feature In-Game Saves
You have to be kidding me!!!! Once again EA fails to incorporate features from previous generations. Too the people who say "Not a big deal" or " just pause the game", do you pay other people's electric bills? No excuse...NO EXCUSE why PSX and PS2 versions of this game had in-game saves but a game in it's 7 iteration doesn't have this feature.
People should not be content with this saying "AHHH not a big deal". Too people with families this is a big deal and will lead to them cutting the game off due to not being able to save mid-game.
Hopefully EA/Tiburon addresses this issue for their first release on PS4/XBOX 720.AKA DEEJAY8595Comment

i guess Motion Blur ate up a sizeable portion of the budget...
and who is still pausing a game in 2012? With how consoles are overheating and whatnot, i wouldnt even try it. I know it doesnt seem to happen as frequent as it used to but c'mon...
for those of you bashing the people that want in game saves, imagine playing a game like Skyrim without them...im sure you would change your tune then...Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Will Not Feature In-Game Saves
This is a downer. Add me to the list of someone who has trouble finding a solid 90 minutes straight to play a dynasty game. Whether it is trying to fit in a game around my young daughter's schedule, or being able to stay up at night to get a game in, it's getting harder to find the time.
This is definitely frustrating and sad that they still have not implemented this into almost all of their sports games. Tiger Woods PGA has it, not sure if any of the other ones do.Comment

I'm surprised there's still people hoping to see this feature implemented. I've been so disenchanted by EA that I didn't even have it in my wishlist for this year.. It's amazing how one of the must have feature for grown-up gamers is regularly neglected by EA. year in year out.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Will Not Feature In-Game Saves
Even when games had in game save, I usually just paused it and turned off the TV. Took less time to start back up that way. Not even an issue to me.Football: Denver Broncos

I was joking about the pause button. Figured u guys would get that. Its like a ladies lunch social in here. i guess grown men need a little smily face to get sarcasm these days
and i didnt see anyone in here bash anyone. we just got alot of good news about this game. you guys need to relax. if i wanted to be dick i would of said dont start what you cant finish. huh?
if i was trying to offer a advice i would say just play as a coordinator as you can play a game in under half of time with no special teams either.
you guys need to relax around here. i dont think ncaa ever had in game saves anyway. madden did and ncaa was getting it but they cancelled it last minute and they explained why. that was a while back though. if it was on ps1 games i cant remember it. but im sure it was much easier to save the file back then. hell we had create a play on ncaa 99 and 2000 i think. we even had playoff option.

The problem is, for someone like me, where getting that kind of time is tough to come by, it's quite literally a deal breaker. It makes no sense to buy a game, I can't play. That's the frustrating part. I want to be able to play the game, but since a basic core feature is not a priority for them, I will be unable to.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Will Not Feature In-Game Saves
How about for 48 hours, or 72 or a week? Saying pausing the game is a viable option to use in place of in game saves is quite ridiculous, to the point, it's not really worth a response.Comment

besides, if you leave the game paused, you cannot play any more games on the console. The lack of in game saves is anachronistic nowadays.Comment

that was my other point, in this day and age, there's really no excuse at all not to have in game saves. There just isn't.Comment
