I absolutely can't stand how the game A.) randomizes the temperature of games, but only between limited ranges, B.) automatically makes your players all wear long sleeves at a given temperature, and C.) takes away any user control for weather options in Franchise. For a game that does so much to immerse you in the game and make you feel like you're really participating in an MLB game, this aspect drives me nuts. In any "northern" city, you might as well forget about playing any games in first few months and last few months of a season in which the players actually look like their real life counterparts with their respective accessories. The MLB The Show series has always lacked (IMO) that level of detail and uniqueness (in terms of Accessories, Equipment, Tattoos, etc.) that other sports games go at length to to include in order to give their players personality and feel like their real-life counterparts. Limited accessory options, no real equipment, very few tattoos, etc.. Although they have improved (with the addition of a few more Accessory options), it is still far behind the curve for the industry. Despite this, they don't allow the game to display what little it has at its disposal to differentiate the player models by eliminating their equipment edits and automatically giving the players long sleeves for all "cold" games.
Again, I know this is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things, but it seems like such an obvious oversight that would be so easy to eliminate; just give us the option to set weather in Franchise games or give us the ability to customize temperatures, or at least re-tune the weather to be less rigid in its randomization to allow for some more weather variance in certain cities.
