Yeah man, I just love the potential of something like this. I am really into Online Franchise and with them saying the presentation stuff for NCAA 13 will also be in the Online dynasty, I just keep imagining the possibilities for Madden.

Even if they could only add video for key games each week like MNF, Playoffs and Super Bowl, for Madden 13, that would be a start. It would really make those games stand out and have gamers looking forward to having their highlights or lowlights on display for all to see.

I will stop now before I get too jazzed and they end up having Wingo only doing studio breaks like Reece. lol. That's still an upgrade but it ain't SportsCenter or College Hoops Tonight caliber, imo.

Thats why it kills me that these developers today (not just EA) seem to be acting as if a weekly recap show is so difficult to include when we beg for it year after year.

Thus the question is begged, did barbarians sack game development companies and are all remaining developers illiterate in regards to the language of years past? If so it would explain so much of what has happened.

Now we must ask are we entering the renaissance or just the Charlemagne Renaissance?

This whole thing could have been a giant smoke screen from the beginning. Why reveal probably one of your biggest presentation features early on? That's why i think we where told not to get our hopes up for a halftime or weekly rap up show, because they are waiting to reveal something big later on. I'm not getting my hopes up, but something tells me we weren't given the whole truth.

2k was made in 2004 what exactly do you expect when they can't make anymore football games? I am positive they would of had it way before Madden, had they been able to make NFL games. Please don't kid yourself if you think differently

Realistically they have been make NBA 2k since college hoops 2k8 dropped and there still isn't a weekly recap show or real halftime show in those games. That's a good point about NBA2k not having weekly video recap but they do have other fillers in place of that. I was watching someone play NBA2k12 the other day and I was mentioning how it has all these post game type highlight reels that would be great in Madden, imo.

I am not as big a NBA fan as I am the NFL and I can just imagine the Youtube type, User created recap shows people could create themselves given the post game content provided in NBA2k, in a NFL game. There is literally a highlight reel created for numerous players.

So even without a weekly recap for a 2k NFL game, it's likely it would contain something at least on par with what NBA2k currently offers, which most reasonable people would agree is far better presentation wise than what has been in Madden the last 7 years.

You're right seven years later it still hasn't come back. And it hasn't been implemented in any other major sports games either. I don't know, if it really was that great, you'd think that other sports games would have jumped all over having it in their games.

Correction, when your the only choice they have everyone wants to knock you off. lol

I personally never complained about EA or any other gaming company back when there was NFL game competition. Reason being I was able to compare each game to the alternative, not the almighty, ie the real NFL. That is no longer the case so now EA football games get compared with my embellished memories of past NFL games, my stretched imagination from other current sports games and my expectations from watching the real NFL.

It is what is. lol
