On the Cassell sack, the RT just sits there and blocks nothing for a second as the rush outside backer comes in freely after the QB. Just awful.

While he picks up the delayed blitzer, his first read should be to get the outside backer. Gosh, I hope this somehow gets tuned before release.

it sounds like that alot of the recordings with jim and phil were ad-libed nice to here that for a change

Yes - unfortunately that's one of my gamekillers as well. The videos look ok, but not much different from Madden 12. The line play is exactly the same.

Hey Road -

actually, that won't be enough for me. I've been bitching about this issue for a long time. I won't be able to play another year with it. I'm a borderline crazy Giants fan. The big strength and joy of playing with my personnel stems from this area of the game. Without it, it completely sucks out the wind from my sails about getting excited to use my team. This is something they have had MORE than enough time to address in the last 3 years. Instead I got MUT, OTP, Motion blur and correct uniforms.

Tuning won't make it work. Instead, the DE will probably bump the tackle and simply warp around him and I'll end up with JPP getting 4 sacks a game.

I love the fact that whenever Cutler is running off the field, he goes to slap hands with Lovie Smith and Smith basically ignores him.

One thing that worries me is that during the Rivers to Jackson Touchdown, Eric Berry just stood their, staring at the ball instead of trying to even attempt to swat it down (which he would have actually intercepted it with how poorly placed it was).

Two things I liked. The crowd during some of the scenes definitely sounded like a real NFL crowd which is thanks to the 24 mics that they used. The other thing was seeing two people hit Palmer at the same time. As the one was wrapping and lifting Palmer up, the other seemed to wrap him up as well.

On paper, I love these new additions/changes, but I still need to see the implementation of them in the game (especially the commentary). Two years ago I think IGN had the article on Gus Johnson being in the game and they played the clip of him doing actual play by play and it sounded great. Then we got the actual game. The commentary just never fit in (random pauses, excitement for no reason) and it also was incorrect a lot of the time (Welker is one of the best QB's in the league)

I am hoping for the best. The last line Nantz says about the team winning without their star running back has a ton of potential to add to franchise mode if its implemented right (If Steven Ridley is injured I wouldn't want to hear that). I hope they ahve a ton of those type of audio tracks though

Yea, I'd like to know how u know this...and by scoreboard, I assume u mean scorebug ....and I hope this is true!

Anyway, I just want this damn game. Lol. And I hope I don't get bored so quickly as I did with 12, which surprised me with the new tackling system and improved graphics and lighting initially sucking me in, especially in the demo. I played the demo a banillion times but it felt like once I played the early release download, the excitement went away after a bit of play. Then I bought the actual game around official release day....
Well, I just FINALLY finished A SEASON in my franchise last week and I'm NOT much of an online game, at all, and played next to NO online games with 12 except one with a former co-worker. Hmm. Looking forward to more of a hook like 10 did to me, this time around/

I'm pretty sure it's the same as you will see here, but they did change the zero's. Hopefully they change the rest too before shipping it. I know Shop talked to Mike Young about it the other day.

Absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE that they brought the QB cadences back. That. Is. Awesome.

Completely agree - hated that they took this out last year.

Minute detail buts add so much realism.
