Will NCAA 13 Include 4 team playoff system

So the BCS has recently approved a 4 team playoff system for college football. The no.1 team will face the no.4 team, and the 2 will face 3. Then they will have a nc match. Do you think this featurfe will be in ncaa 13.

I highly doubt it...EA will have to change a bunch of game code to include the playoffs and concidering they have been investing a bunch of time in improving other things in the game plus the timing of when the playoff was approved by the NCAA would not have given EA enough time. We would probly see that implemented next year hopefully.

The presidents and BCS committee have not decided what the new format will be so until that comes out there will be no change. Plus that will not begin until the end of the regular season 2014.

I'm not EA so I can't say for sure, but it's not going to be in the game.

As the other poster pointed out nothing has been officially agreed upon and even if it was it wouldn't take effect until the NCAA 14 season.

When has it been actually approved and for sure happening? I don't think there is a chance of it being in 13 especially when it isn't even final IRL

Bill Walsh College Football gave you the option of playing a tournament or bowl system. I don't see why this couldn't be implemented, considering we already have conference editing the way it is. You could have a "playoff option" and select whether they are certain bowl games or what. It would be tough to code up, but you can't tell me they haven't discussed it.

The new playoff system is going to happen u see I see it the committee sees it whether they approve next week or in August it's happening and I guarantee you EA knows it fOr that reason alone there should be an option for a playoff style mode no excuses as its not a part of college football because quite frankly those arguments are over we will have a playoff in two years no need for ea to wait

Yeah I really long for that Bill Walsh playoff option in today's games sometimes.

Gamebreaker had a playoff option as well. Amazing how games on older machines seemed to have more options. Yet on more modern, cutting edge consoles things seem to be limited by code and disc space. Odd.

Ok, so assuming that the NCAA will eventually get around to agreeing on the format, and there will be a NCAA Football 15 (Barring the world doesn't end later this year{non believer}), how well do you think EA will accommodate that feature in the game? As previous posters have said, it will take coding changes, but I'm just wondering how good the feature will be.

It will be interesting, to say the least... especially considering the fact that IRL it will likely be decided by a selection committee.

It should, without a doubt, be included in next year's version. I'm sure all of the details will be worked out by then. I don't care that it isn't starting until the 2014 season. My dynasty goes on for 20+ seasons sometimes. In real life, the majority of those will have a playoff. EA needs to put this in next year's game.
