late on every fastball (sabathia, hernandez, verlander etc.)

Hey Guys i have a real problem with this years the show

i have a samsung led tv and i know a have a timing issue with this tv but i play in game mode and clicking the pitch speed down to zero helps in the past to have good games ! But this year is not the case. Especially with pitchers like CC, Hernadez, Lincecum etc. I´am always late and sometimes just late on fastballs. Even when i´m just guessing and not see the ball i only reach a good timing. Clicking timing to 10 doesn´t help either. But for pitches like sliders or changeup i´m often perfect or good. And now it get´s ridiculous. When other starting spitcher are on the mount with the same pitch speed but lower rating i can play well. I´m often just late on fastball or perfect and often to early or just early on off speed stuff.
It´s not a placebo, tested over the last 30+ games ... do somebody else have thiss issue ? i´m really frustrated about it

What happens when you guess fastball (either in your mind, or literally with guess pitch) and get one that's 93 mph and under? Can you get early or just early timing?

i play with timing hitting, so it´s just in my mind (guessing the pitch) but for pitcher with low speed fastballs unter 93mph etc. i do not even have to guess, i can see and hit them and get a just early or early on a fastball (because of pitch speed zero, timing 10). And that´s not realistic but when it get´s to the very good pitchers it´s like i can press x immediately after they release the ball and i all get is a just late and i don´t know why

I've always had a lingering suspicion (NOTE: THIS IS NOT FACT) that when individual pitch confidence and overall pitcher confidence goes up, the pitch speed, in turn, goes up as well.

This is how it FEELS. This is NOT a tested or even likely opinion.

My guess is that the movement on the 4FB gets enhanced when a pitcher is rolling.

I'd say if you are capable of turning on a FB when looking for one at 93 mph and under, there's not a lot you can do other than to look for patterns and continue guessing in your mind.

Timing batting practice mode against an ace may benefit you as well.

maybe found a fix !!! switched batting cam to catcher calssic and now i can hit witch pitch speed at 0 and timing up to 6 and nw i can draw walks !!! it´s much easier to see the ptich location !!! even on sliders and change ups

            Well there you go.

A good cam can do wonders. I like the Default one, but I've experimented enough to know that how 'you see the pitch' can make or break this game.

            Congratulations. Thread problem status: Solved!
