A few gameplay videos were released last year with Gus Johnson doing live commentary along with an EA rep (I believe). They were much, much better than what we received in-game. Granted, we can't get that same type of flow without having the commentators spend literal weeks in the studio. Combine that with the disc space we have in this generation and you're not getting a viable result.
However, what I and the majority of the posters in this thread are pointing to are the other games in this generation that have done more with less --- they made the most of their recording time and the disc space to create a realistic experience "from the booth". I understand playing Franchise may create some new and interesting scenarios, but sitting through the majority of a generic game only to have, say, thirty seconds to a minute of dynamic content is not providing gamers with a new experience. Other titles have extended dynamic commentary throughout a game and not just in key moments. As I said before, additions like these in the Madden series are
long overdue.
