    EA SPORTS NHL 13 Cover Vote Campaign Reaches Quarterfinals

    Sponsored By BlackBerry And Hosted On NHL.com, Nearly 17 Million Fan Votes Cast To Date In The First Ever EA SPORTS NHL® Cover Athlete Campaign

    May 11, 2012 – EA SPORTS™ and NHL.com announced today the eight NHL players who have advanced to the quarterfinals of the EA SPORTS NHL®13 Cover Vote, sponsored by BlackBerry®. Beginning today on NHL.com, fans can vote for their favorite player to advance to the semifinals. The winner of the cover vote campaign will be unveiled as the EA SPORTS NHL 13 Cover Athlete at the 2012 NHL Awards™ on June 20 at the Wynn Las Vegas.

    Bracket A
    • Claude Giroux vs. Anze Kopitar
    • Scott Hartnell vs. Evgeni Malkin

    Bracket B
    • Pavel Datsyuk vs. John Tavares
    • Henrik Lundqvist vs. Pekka Rinne

    NHL 13 Cover Athlete Voting Schedule:

    May 11 – May 17: Quarterfinals – Bracket A matchups open for voting

    May 18 – May 23: Quarterfinals – Bracket B matchups open for voting

    May 24 – May 28: Semifinals

    May 29 – June 4: Finals

      As a tip of the proverbial hockey helmet to the game's overall development the past four years, the cover athletes should be the Sedin twins. Because each one looks exactly the same as the last one.

            Obviously I'm voting for Scott Hartnell and Claude Giroux. Then after that i'm not sure.

              If you want games to sell in the US..... they'll have to put Lundy on. Giroux hurt his image with that last game. He had an amazing series vs. Pitt, but no one will care.
