What is the most inning that you went?

I'm really new to this game as I have it for my PSVita and I have been really enjoying it. I just started a franchise with the Yankees (I suck so I had to choose one of the best teams) and in my first game with Tampa Bay we went 18 innings. It was 0-2 in the 9th inning when I homered with Teixeira with a man on base to tie it up. Then we went 8 straight inning with no score. Finally in the 18th inning I scored 2 runs, then Tampa Bay hits a home run with 2 guys on base to give them the win. I was pretty devastated thinking I was going to win then just like that, in a single hit they win it. I went through like 4 pitchers and TB went through all of theirs I think as their last guy had 0 energy, lol. Anyways, what is the most amount of inning you went either Vita or PS3?

I went 17 innings in Diamond Dynasty before winning on a walk-off by my first Hall of Famer, Alejandro Alomar. I was so sure we were gonna get our connection nuked everytime someone got on base.

I managed 18 innings in a spring training game. Even with all the extra guys on the roster I still burned through my entire bullpen, 'till I hit a walk off HR with Justin Upton.

I don't remember what inning it ended, because i loss and it was a bit aggravating not being able to end it, but it wasn't anymore than a couple more innings.

I just looked it up that 16 innings was the record for an opening day game. So looks like I broke that by going 18.

Man i wish i could put my pictures up but my phone is being pretty stupid right now. I went 29 innings in my third game of the year as the Rockies at the Astros it finished with me getting an RBI single by my RP that went 15 innings for me. Final score was 4-3.

Went 18 innings in exhibition as I won 2-1 on a walk-off by Adam Dunn against the Orioles.

The longest I've played is an 18 inning game. But I just had a simmed RTTS game (my player was given the day off) and the game went 24 innings. I didn't even get a PH appearance for some reason. Guys had 10 and 11 at-bats.

I did just finish a string of games in RTTS that went extra innings. I thin it was four in a row. None of them were excessive or anything. I'd have to go back and look but I think an entire three game series against the Cubs went 12, 11, and 14 innings, then the first game of my next series went 11 innings. Seems like I have a lot more extra inning games in RTTS than franchise.

I went 17 for a win several months ago.

I went 18 for a loss last night.

Game was tied 2-2 up until the top of the 18th. I get my leadoff batter on with a double between right and center. Tulo drives him in with a single to center. Next up, Cargo is late on a fastball but makes good contact and although the ball is slicing hard, just manages to stay fair and bounce off the brick warehouse in left field at Petco. Next three batters go down relatively quickly. I'm up 5-2.

Somehow, I still had my closer available, and thought I had it in the bag. Leadoff batter stings the first pitch of the at bat, Tulo goes deep into the hole, does the jump throw (get a yellow indicator), and Helton bobbles it at first. Walk the next batter. Third batter hits a grounder just down the line behind first. Helton gets it, I should have just gone to first for the out, but tried to get two. Everybody was safe. Bases loaded.

Next batter takes 8 pitches and finally gets on top of a changeup and chops it straight into the ground about 6 feet in front of home. It takes a high bounce . . . runner is coming home from third . . .catcher covers the plate pitcher comes in to gather the ball . . .ball finally comes down . . . throw is loaded (it's analog I'm holding straight down). . . it's gonna be close . . . pitcher spins and throws to second? WTF?

Seriously? Had silly throwing stuff like this happen a lot last season, was told it probably was my controller, stick was too loose. So I bought a new controller, hadn't had it happen a single time this year. Until now.

So, the lead is cut to 5-3. Everybody is still safe, bases still loaded, no outs. Ground ball to Tulo perfect for the double play on the next batter, but he takes his time with the toss to 2nd. I get the out there, but the runner at first is safe. Another run scores. 5 - 4. Runners on first and third, 1 out.

I'm getting nervous. I know what is coming. I visit the mound to calm my pitcher down, and give another reliever a chance to get warm.

Next batter, grounds softly to third. Runner stays put at third, but ball is hit too slowly to get 2, so I take the sure out at 1st. Still 5-4, 2 outs. Runners at 2nd and 3rd.I may get out of this after all.

Next batter (their #8 guy in the lineup mind you), works a 3-2 count and proceeds to foul off pitch after pitch--should have just walked him. I knew he wasn't gonna give in. On the 14th pitch of the at bat he slaps one just past my pitcher's outstretched glove, my 2B tries to make a play on it, but it gets past him. Runner on third scores to tie it. 5-5. Now runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.

I'm livid, but I'm willing to keep playing and try to win the game all over again. I bring in my next reliever because my closer's confidence is shot all to hell. First pitch of the at bat, he grounds softly to first. So, I'm gonna live to play yet another inning.

As Helton prepares to field it, this lazy grounder takes a hop up and over him. By the time the RF gets to the ball, the winning run has scored.

Who knows when my next game will be played...I have to wait for Wal-Mart to open so I can go buy a new controller after that one got smashed into the floor. Also, have to spend some time today trying to repair the divot I created in the hardwoods, and get my wife back in a good mood, after my post game tirade woke our 4 year-old daughter at 11:45, and she didn't want to go back to sleep after that.
