Sorry it's took so long to get this out, but I wanted to test it as much as I could to make sure I got rid of any freezing issues. I have updated a clean file with all of my rosters from before and a bunch of new teams also. Everything should work fine in season mode and i have not run into any freezing. Before I get into the details I would like to credit some of the people who's creations and work i used to build this roster: Special thanks to Vlad for creating an awesome program like REDitor and Hokupguy for his early hex edits, lists and answering a million REDitor questions. SimWorld Crew(I used their roster as a base), Portlandblazer(Caps to fill out classic teams and a few of the newer teams), airmatic23(teams & CAPs), Laroche360(Misc CAPS) and all of the people who continually upload cyber faces.
This roster was streamlined to be used with exhibition, season and NBA's greatest. It is not compatible with Association or Practice mode. There are no "junk" teams on this roster, every team is a retro team.
Here are the roster details:
- Started with SimWorld roster as a base
- Filled in missing classic players with PortlandBlazer's CAPs
- Used several of airmatic's teams and CAPs
- Used cyber faces whenever possible due to the weak CAP editor this year to keep the overall look consistent. Every team on average has 7-8 cyber faces on it.
- All teams are retro teams with that year labeled at the team selection screen. There is at least one retro team for every franchise. The Charlotte Bobcats, Rookies and Sophomore teams have been removed. Replaced the East and West All-Star teams with 80s/90s All-Star East and West teams.
- All teams have the correct jerseys for their year as their default jersey. All teams have their correct short length for that corresponding era.
- All teams have correctly named coaches and models(as close as possible).
- All teams have a retro arena now with the correct arena name.
- Zero naming glitches
- All teams have proper gear, shoes, ratings, tendencies and signatures for that specific year.
- All current players have been removed from the free agent pool. I added about 20 lower level retro players that used to bounce around from team to team to use as free agents in season mode(ie: Johnny Morton, Irving Thomas, Alton Lister, etc) and about 20 generic players to the free agent pool.
Team Details:
- All of the classic teams from the 80's and 90's that 2K gave us were accounted for when making this roster. All of them are the same with the exception of 85 76ers and 85 Bucks.
- They were changed to the 83 76ers (Championship Team) and the 87 Bucks (Jack Sikma, Moncrief, Pierce, Cummings, Pressey)
-I have also added some of my favorite teams from the past decade also to this update.
