Re: New Gameplay Video Maryland @ Michigan (5/24)

I was not a fan of the first video at all. But this video showed a few things that would never happen in '12. '11 was so good because it did a lot of things solidly. I'm hoping '13 will be good for that very same reason.

Thought game looked a lot better then last weeks release, granted its in small clips, but visually game doesn't looked washed out like some of the screen shots have made it look. Read option looked a lot quicker and may actually be effective now. Just hope that the deep ball isn't open as much as it was in 12 and as much as it was in these clips...in the first pass play not only is the post corner open but wr on opposite side running a chair is wide open deep as well.

Liked this video much more than last week. Still saw a little mirroring on one play. I just think alot of the problems I have with this game stem from the poor/unrealistic animations and the speed of them. This year definitely is a must play version of the game, because nothing jumps out from watching videos. I'm sure it'll be a fun version, but nothing jumps out as impressive.

That's what irks me the most.

We already seen enough Human control videos EA.

Please show us the game from the CPU AI standpoint. I'd like to see the CPU run a offense on their own.

I want to see if they will juke and spin to make tacklers miss, QB take off and run with a true purpose.

These things are in Madden already what's the problem with having it in the college game on the same level as Madden?

[QUOTE=Gotmadskillzson;2043692664]Madden 10 when pro tak was introduced. 8 man gang tackle was a wow moment because it was never done before.

Pro Tak made me say "Wow this is a horrible depiction of a gang tackle." Ball carriers getting sucked into a group hug was not a wow moment.

It was nice to see routes working though. I much rather see Part 3 of that Oregon/USC game. I trust the GCs when it comes to the pass trajectory stuff. That AI option though is a big gameplay question I'd like answered.
Your comment makes you seem uneducated in the ways of football. The DB does exactly what he is supposed to do. If anything he actually plays it wisely. The safety in this play takes the outside WR who is slanting to deep mid field the corner takes the slot who breaks toward the sideline before cutting up field. That is not a case of dumb DBs, more of bad play calling by the defensive coordinator.

I just know this... if Madden gets a big gameplay upgrade this year and it's NOT in NCAA, there will be some disappointed people. NCAA sales will show that as most people now are just fine with waiting until Madden if they get the big upgrade. The NCAA team did say whatever was added to Madden would be added to NCAA, but who knows if they actually meant the big reveal we are supposed to hear about.

That's what I wanna see also. Is how the either CPU plays against CPU or how the CPU [on offense] plays against the human [On defense]

I didn't really have a problem with him leading the recievers on those plays BECAUSE the receivers were already looking back for the ball (He waited for them to light up first, watch it again).

That said, if he hadn't of waited for them to "look back" and tried to change the passing route...then I would've called shenanigans.

Otherwise, I'm still not hyped for this game. I guess videogame football just isn't for me anymore.

I can't agree with you until they show a full game, because it could be that the offense set that up will multiple five and stops, it could be that the DB wasn't that good, or it could be that the difficulty was too low.
I doubt an EA Sports game is programmed with the depth of knowledge you just noted. This wheel type route was deadly in NCAA 11 then switched off in 12 and now it appears made effective once again. Depending on the year EA allows certain routes to dominate. Last year it was slants, ins, outs, streaks. Posts werent effective. I remember in NCAA '09 the post was deadly

Look again. The receiver is looking when he first clears the corner but, when the ball is thrown he completely turns his back yet ends up perfectly timed when he turns his head over the opposite shoulder.

This year they made the DB's read and react right? You just got an example of it.If you want omniscient DB's, this isn't the game for you. #no offense

this is all wrong. why was that d-end (left side) bending to the running back going to the right on the option? contain, contain, contain!
