Blue collar or White collar

Thought this would be a interesting poll, to see the breakdown of white collar vs blue collar here. For me, I am straddling the line; somedays I get in my truck and go work and somedays I need to put the dress shirt on and go to meetings.

Unemployed, but aim to be white collar. Actually, I truly aim to be no-collar as I sit and watch baseball all day every day. But that's not gonna happen, lol.

I get a combination of all three. The joys of contractual IT work.

The trick to blue collar work is finding your niche and exploiting it. I drive a truck for a living but when I was In the Army I got put in charge or teaching a drivers safety class. I used that experience for the job I have right now and I am currently a regional safety supervisor.

My long term plan is to get my instructors license and start a commercial drivers safety program.

I am a blue collar. Started out as a welder, then moved on to running laser cutters. Now I just do a little bit of everything at my job.
