it doesn't even look that fun though because the slow down offers no advantage. Every play i've seen so far would have ended the same without it on

Mascot Game 2.0 IMO with how pointless of a feature this is. People aren't begging to be able to play as former heisman winners. People are begging for a game that plays like football.

Casual modes attract casual/new fans. New fans help generate new revenue for the game. New revenue helps increase development dollars. When viewed that way, the feature isn't pointless at all if it proves successful in accomplishing its goal.

but if your moving at the same speed as everyone else it wouldn't seem to help all that much. maybe i'm wrong, but again i've seen no visual proof to this point of any real benefit. just seems annoying to me. football is a fast sport slow mo is better left for replays

I see what they are trying to do with the bullet time.

But they went the wrong way I feel. "the ga,e has slowed down for him" they used that phrase which we hear a lot. But it doesn't mean certain points of the game actually slow down.

They mean the pace of the game as a whole. I dont think any player has actually said time slows down like that.

I mean that's the type of thing you seem in Hollywood movies or something. Seems kind of arcadeish to me.

This is the samething that was in NCAA 06 i believe....

The game slowed down for a minute when the IMPACT PLAYER was in a zone on the field.

It was. But it felt more like the broadcast doing it. Ya know? This is more like you have control to slow down time.

In NCAA 06 it was more highlighting your play. Or at least that's how it felt to me.

This is the worst NCAA hype trailer I have ever watched. My God.

I doubt even the casual fans that people on here like to bring up so much will find this fun. My younger cousin who is a casual player and gets the game every year thinks this looks stupid. He doesn't care about playing with old heisman players he has never heard of.

I must be the only person here that thinks this could be interesting. How people say this mode is incredibly stupid and say the NBA's Greatest mode in 2k is a breakthrough in video gaming boggles my mind. I love NBA's Greatest mode, and I think I'll like this too.

I must be the only person here that thinks this could be interesting. How people say this mode is incredibly stupid and say the NBA's Greatest mode in 2k is a breakthrough in video gaming boggles my mind. I love NBA's Greatest mode, and I think I'll like this too.

This is nothing like the 2K mode.

On 2K, you can play with the TEAMS of those great players. You can unlock historical teams. This way I can pretend I'm actually playing the 1998 Finals all over again. You can even put those teams in Association and run a season with historical teams.

Not just that, but the skillsets of the players are accurate. It's not just maxing out stats and having a stupid bullet time button, it's actually having Pippen play like Pippen or Larry Bird play like Larry Bird or Magic Johnson play like Magic Johnson. They have tendencies and skillsets that reflect the real player. Retro equipment. Retro arenas. Retro uniforms. Retro TV style looks. They even have broadcast style commentary for each and every classic matchup.

But Heisman modes only novelty is being able to put Charlie Ward on the Gators and using bullet time to run up the score on FSU and Miami?....and that's it? Oh yeah, then play a Road To Glory with the same player you just played a dynasty season with.

It's a slap in the face of 2K and those who enjoyed that mode to say 'this is just like that." No it's not. The NBA 2k mode is a well thought out, well implemented mode with attention to detail and authenticity. It's something for the sim heads and the casual fans. Heisman mode is a half-hearted attempt to capitalize on the success of that.

It's like that movie company the The Asylum that copies famous movies, but they are terrible straight to dvd attempts. Transformers hits theaters, and The Asylum releases Transmorphers.

Heisman mode=straight to dvd quality feature.

At the very least, they could have spent some time working on Heisman in Dynasty. Heisman presentation? Better Heisman logic?

The bold made me literally LOL. I worked at Blockbuster when that came out and we had to tell people all the time that it wasn't the real Transformers.

Ok, so who cares. I can create a player, make him 99 ovr and slap last name Sanders on him - and then what? Don't get me wrong, not crapping on the game, just questioning the effort. EA and their gimmicks are really tired. This "feature" brings no real value to the college fball fan that buys these games - (read any person on OS)... I just find this useless and will never play this mode or whatever... as a matter of fact, this will have as much use as the Mascots being playable. How about spend the $ and assets on other areas of the game?
