Once I downloaded the patch I had trouble with all of my RTTS files freezing after playing a game. I can finish a game and when it gets to the screen that shows your stats and saves with the baseball down in the right corner it simply freezes.

I've tried deleting all of my files, including even all of my saved files that I had in an attempt to get the mode working again, thinking that if I wiped it clean and started a new RTTS with the patch already installed it would work. It is still freezing and I have no idea what I'm going to be able to do to get RTTS working again.

Update from 5/28/12 :Well, It finally happened, I had a freeze during my RTTS game June of 2017. The pitcher made a pitch I couldn't swing , the pitcher stood there off the mound waiting for the ball to be thrown back by the catcher, it didn't happen , I was just standing there in my batting stance and the only motion I could do was to do bunt motion no swing motion what so ever, at the time I was 3-4 with a home run. Restarted the game , finished the game, all was good , not sure what effect the patches had on this freeze but I am just giving some additional information.
Note : Continued to play additional RTTS games with no other problems

I just fired up the game for the first time in two weeks and downloaded the patch. I ran into two problems in my franchise. The first was a pop-up that landed about 10 feet foul on the third base side, it highlighted my third baseman, but he was frozen in his spot. The game did go on after that though. The other was a grounder to short, yet it switched to the third baseman and would not let me switch to the ss to make the play. Don't know why it happened, but I might just start a new franchise to fix it.

Can someone please help me. I have no announcing or play by play in any of my franchise games. What is wrong or how do I fix the 3 man crew.

Eject the disc , wipe the disc down, restart the ps3, reinsert, try again. I had the same issue. This fixed it.

love this game a lot but when i downloaded the update, everything went downhill and now i am mad at it

I have ZERO offense since the update. i have played three games and been shut out in every one. I have not made contact with the ball even though i get "perfect" timing (i use timing hitting). I estimate that i am 0-20 on "perfect" swings. my hits in the 3 games are 2, 1, and 4.

I used to have grew games, 4-3, 5-6 2-1. now i can't score a flippin run!

Same here. I've noticed that the timing between fastballs and breaking balls has INCREASED and it's not realistic. It used to be a second difference but now it's 2 seconds off which is A LOT for a sport that relies on timing soo much. I wonder if there is something to fix the speed difference between fastballs and breaking balls???

I don't get it.

I play with Timing hitting, both before and after the patch, and I notice no differences....at all, I'm still getting pitchers duels, slugfests and everything in between.

Really, stop looking for things that don't exist

How is this possible? It only takes about .5 seconds for a pitch to reach home plate anyways...

I haven't noticed any difference for what its worth.

I can second this. Played with timing hitting before and after the patch, literally no difference in hitting for me or the CPU.

Probably because they don't have as many developers in the UK as they do here. Just saying. I've worked in a SaaS company for many years. I know how it goes. Trust me. They change one piece of code and the rest has impact.

The only thing I've noticed on my game disc, since the latest update. The real time MLB scores at the bottom of screen is not loading when the game loads. But this not new I remembered in the past the scores stop showing in the past.
