NCAA import gone this year

About half of the preorders just went out the window for NCAA for this very reason. Looman did say he wanted to add it in the future but wants to make sure it isnt just thrown into the Connected Careers. Bittersweet news.

That's absolutely horrible.

How can you take out on of the best features that connected these games?

A lot of people look forward to playing a dynasty and seeing those guys play in the NFL.

I fully understand, this was the reason why I bought both games, but Looman did stress that they want to add it in the future but only if its done right. Previously its just been a throw in and has been more buggy and trouble than it should be. Hopefully its back by next year and everything works for the better.

In the short term. I'm sure it's frustrating. But long term, this is a decision that will almost undoubtedly be better for both games down the road.

Ouch. Talk about bringing down the excitement level; I went from a 10 to about a 6 with this news. Since they implemented importing of the draft classes years ago, I have never played without the real rookies. The generated stories do sound somewhat interesting, however if I had the option I would choose imported draft classes, no doubt. I still plan on buying, but importing draft classes better be a top priority for Madden 14.

this deos blow however i always hated waiting to get a perfect draft class every year so i never really got a chance to dive into a franchise mode deeply

i guess going without it for a year will be ok as madden 13 already to good to not be a must buy

i'll miss importing rookies but its not going to be as bad if everything else works. with that said i'll still buy ncaa football 13 to hold me over till madden comes out! go chiefs!!!

I sure hope we are still allowed to edit players during CC. Then at least we can edit fake players into real ones if we want.

Same here, unfortunately. That's one of my major reasons for purchasing the NCAA series...seems I'll likely be holding out another year.

Yeah this did drop my excitement level with this decision. I really enjoyed this feature but now since it's gone this year and I just don't see myself buying both games like I am accustomed to doing.

WOAH! Hold the freakin phone! Is this true? Is there an article or something I can check out that talks about this because I missed the EA conference. I'm not a HUGE college football fan so one of the few reasons I get this game is to import players into Madden. If this is true then I'll end up canceling my preorder for NCAA and wait in till Black Friday to pick up Madden probably.
