Haven't purchased Madden since 08...

...still won't until it actually feels different.

Those wanting some of us to give EA some slack...it was given a long time ago and almost yearly until some of us had enough after 08. I really, really hope this year is different but man when your expectations are constantly crushed yearly it is just not enough to hope anymore.

And I laugh at those who've proclaimed day 1 purchase after seeing this footage. I was in that boat too...saw gang tackling, no WR/CB interaction, etc. Never really turned out exactly as they described and almost always a game breaker.

How will they implement this in game while taking attributes into account?

Depends. How does all this affect gameplay? All I'm seeing in these vids are some very cool highlights.

I'm sure today is the day they are out on the floor and people will go around with cams to upload game play and we won't be able to hear audio because it's too loud.

Wednesday they are suppose to release a game play video.

This is all im doing for now, im waiting to see if players still zig zag, known glitches exist or not, and if this engine forces players to play a respectful though t out game of football instead of the I know exactly when and where to pass regardless of situation type of players!

My crow will be freshly cooked when its time for me to eat it!

That's really the thing - these are not animations, and that's what makes this so important. It's the cornerstone to gameplay changes to come in the future.

I'm with u on this DB, it's going too take more than pretty tackles too say here's my $60. There are too many fundamentals that madden lacks, even with there physics base engine. like other OP has said, are we still getting those zigzag plays and other issues that has plagued Madden for years now. What's about DB/WR interactions and OL/DL interactions? I haven't heard anything about that yet from the developers, and that's not a good sign when u don't. I heard community members seen more pass interference calls with this new engine. That's good, but we have too see and double-team pass blocking haven't been mentioned yet, but from earlier reviews, I think that wasn't in. So we have too see as info comes in, hopefully Madden14 address the deep rooted issues that has plagued this series on next-gen.

This is definitely a step in the right direction, so after 2 years of not buying Madden, it looks like I will be getting it this year. Thank goodness I can finally run a franchise with the Niners again.

Hey Roadman what's up stranger?

I checked out that team box video. The OL/DL interactions have improved, but there is still no double-team pass blocking going on as usual. There is no engagement of a second OL to help with the rush of a DL. No locking of engagement of two OL against a DL. I was looking hard, but didn't see any. It looks better, but it seem too have the same issues as before.
