Re: NCAA Football 13 Demo Is Out, Post Your Impressions Here
Finally got 1 game played, rendering it right now. Anyway my impressions:
1. WRs aren't aggressive at all. They still just stand there and wait for the ball to come to them flat footed, where as the DB just runs around them and either deflect or intercept the ball.
2. Colors seem VERY DULL.
3. Option attack is still broken for the CPU. Damn near every attempt Oregon had was for a 5 yard lost.
4. CPU punt returners and kick off returners still suffer from tunnel vision. They run in a straight line directly into tackles.
5. CPU RB isn't a threat at all. They still don't like to use their special moves at all.
6. HB screens got blown up in the back field every time the CPU tried to run one.
7. WR and HB seem to drop a hell of a lot passes on screen plays when the cpu tried to run them.
8. Didn't see any new tackle animations or catch animations at all.Comment

I didn't think it was possible, but the graphics seem to have taken another step backwards.

Now that I am in the 4th quarter, I agree with you. The stadium looks great, but the players are under lit."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

That's great news, been one of my complaints is the night/day doesn't progress like it should especially in a place like Tiger Stadium where night games are big.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I don't know if I am playing a different game than some of you on this site.
There are at least 10 new catch animations and more gameplay animations I have seen in just two games.
CPU was able to run the read option fairly well (Oregon) against me in my first game.
Passing feels a lot better. CPU punted on the 36...and pinned me! Bama field position game.
Very happy...so far. Wish there were multiple difficulty options though."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Saw a nice one-handed reach back catch on a pass I threw behind the receiver.
I've also seen some very cool tackle animations where the carrier stumbles and rolls forward for yards.
This game isn't the revolution Madden might wind up being, but it's good enough for me to purchase it, I think.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Demo Is Out, Post Your Impressions Here
just finished my first game as LSU against Bama, won 17-3. few things that impressed me were:
1. THE FADE BALL ACTUALLY WORKED!!!
2. loved how the pump fake can be used as a weapon now. faked one underneath to the slot back and went over the top to the TE for a 45 yard gain, both safeties bit on the play fake.
3. The crowd was great. on the play to the TE mentioned the place went nuts when he caught it and started running towards the end zone. also was awesome to here the crowd react to 4 straight negative plays by Bama after having 1st and Goal from the 2.
Things i wasn't impressed with was how easy it was to throw the ball, i completed roughly 85% of my passes, and picking apart the defences with spread teams could result in a lot of 50+ point games. overall though i was impressed with how it played, and liked the feel of it better compared to last yearWESTERN ONTARIO MUSTANGS
