NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
Those guys in the video are spreading false info they're claiming things that aren't true about NBA Live 13 i'm not worried about any of negative posts about NBA Live. I been really anticipating this game & negative comments like what was stated in that video will be ignored.Tags: None -
Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
Lmao sorry but I'm not shocked even from the first interview they said it was only a year and a half in devolpment, I have a strange feeling they took a lot from nba elite which is just ********. Live 10 wasn't the greatest but if you can't start from scratch at least start from there. -
Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
Lol.... theres are reason they show what they wanna show.. to hide everything else... This game may be cancelled for good. Majority reaction to this game aint good. It has Elite written all over it..NBA Live is the epitome of Cancel Culture..

Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
we all know that bro, but i just think its a shame for the game to be still in this state, they enough time to develop a solid foundation and should have been able to show something, there is just no excuse, i mean no excuse for what was available as demo,
I have to say that i wasn't to happy about the other games demo or preview either, but at least they showed something, and at least there devs are answering, unlike EA who are a no showComment

I'm still optimistic, I know EA has better online stability compared to the 2k servers and the fact that the presentation will be top notch is just icing on the cake.
All of the *guys in here bashing an unfinished game they haven't even seen in person should chill out. I plan on getting both games and 2k13 will be 2k12 w/ features they took out from 2k11 and branded as new, possibly crew, online lobbies and layered braces over the socks again. Other than that expect a few new signature layups and walking animations (like nash licking his hands up the court from 2k8) and the guitar hero ASW to be the hot new additions for this years game.
As for live, 4 months is plenty time to polish and clean up the gameplay. Like Czar said, the ANT engine will be a deciding factor in the final build. The ability to break out of canned animations and the lacking amount of animations compared to 2k were my only gripes from live 10. Visually and audio wise live was killing 2k w/ the amount of shoes, accessories, arena specific sounds, the atmosphere of the regular season to playoff games and game to game storylines.Last edited by Alfro0925; 06-08-2012, 04:11 AM."I've never really paid that much attention to it.. know what I'm saying? Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
We just saw Screen shots, and Snaps of it but no game play. There main problems was game play and player movement along with their presentation and if they fix that and don't sell it's not a fail it's a building block and people on here don't understand that my dude. I agree with you cause NBA live always had the better tats, sneakers, accessories, areana and omg the best Soundtrack while 2K have unknown people cause they cheap. The little things is what NBA live is working on and this the game for that while 2k been using the same play engine for two yearsI'm still optimistic, I know EA has better online stability compared to the 2k servers and the fact that the presentation will be top notch is just icing on the cake.

Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay & Hands-On Impressions EXCLUSIVE E3
By no means do I claim to have a working knowledge of video game design and coding.
However, reviews surfacing from E3 detail unnatural movements and choppy animations which are unsurprising when considering the developers' claim that the build is roughly 60% complete.
When taken together, it could be suggested that much of the core physics engine (ANT?)--maybe 80 to 85%--was engineered using generic figures prior to the implementation of arena and player graphics. In doing so, a curtailed version of that physics system may have been employed while player features and ornamentation were sculpted--hence the physics and animations documented at E3.
Thus, the gameplay presentation would appear unnatural and incomplete until the finalization of ambient and player graphics. Only then would those visual elements be integrated with the more complex and mature physics architecture.
For example, EA wouldn't want to be hampered by the task of reverse-engineering a physics engine from scratch after finishing an elaborate graphical experience, or vice versa. The model proposed above would allow for the graphics, gameplay, and physics to be programed simultaneously in the final stages of production; ideally providing more cohesion in the final product. Also, from this multilayer approach, intuition indicates that it would be easier to fix the inevitable bugs and glitches.
This perspective provides a better explanation for and a more plausible connection between the positive EA objectives and the negative press from E3--albeit an optimistic one.
Ultimately though, this may be the wishful thinking of a longtime Live fan, unsatisfied--though pleasantly surprised in some aspects--with many of the features of the competition.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

If they pull a NFL 2k5 and sell this game for 20$, then i might see myself picking it up. Mainly because of EA's online serversTwitter - @OtistheOriginalComment
