Demo gameplay graphics

Thoughts on the graphics during gameplay on the demo? Don't know if it's just me or not but the graphics and motion blur on cut scenes look fantastic but on the actual gameplay looks very unclear and blurry.

It was quite the opposite for me. I felt the motion blur was overdone in the cut scenes and looked pretty unrealistic to me, but the gameplay graphics looked the same as 12 to possibly a little better than 12. I don't really know how to explain it, but gameplay graphics were for lack of a better word, "smoother" and maybe a little more polished to me, I guess you could say.

I will add this though, it seemed to me the actual player movement in the cutscenes was far more robotic/choppy and quick compared to last year. I think that contributed to my dislike of the new motion blur.

I agree 100%. Ive seen people say that the colors seemed "washed out" but I put in my AA 12 after a few games with KSU in the demo and the 13 demo looked better IMO. Its seemed smoother and more refined.....actually looked a bit like madden 12's to me anyway. Absolutely hated motion blur and the way it is implemented in the demo.

I like the graphics of the demo, I thought the game looked really good.

Yeah motion blur was done poorly..not that i'm really surprised..and the field texture is horrible..why can't they get it to look like maddens? IMO Ncaa needs bring in some new blood like Madden did

Just the opposite for me. I thought the cut scenes looked blurry and the game looked great. Not a fan of Motion Blur so far, but it's just a demo.

i hope they fixed the lighting of the players at night and in domes, the jersey's usually looked bad and wrong. however judging by the shading of the bama LSU game i doubt they changed it... figures....

The PS3 graphics are so bad that its just slightly better than the PS2 format. It was like that last year also and the jaggies just ruin the PS3 version of this game IMO.

I thought it made replays look really great an I usually just skip those most of the time but I like watching them now...

As far as actual gameplay I think the grass looks horrible still but could be just me....

The grass still looks absurdly long. Not every schools grooms their field like Stanford and Notre Dame do—especially not synthetic turf schools.

Also disappointed to see that white jerseys still have incredible stain guard capacity. I know it's the lighting engine, but it's really annoying seeing white jerseys not have any dirt on them in certain lighting conditions while dark ones are caked in mud.

cut scenes look great and long like a totally different game ....gameplay looks ok(same as ncaa12 really) but field is awful in texture and color

and another thing i noticed so far from all the gameplay vids ive seen is that the predator dreads are still there ...you know honestly i would really prefer ncaa to take the madden aproach to dreads and put them in a pony tail or something because the predator look is really bad at least shorten them a bit or have a medium length ....so many guys in college and pro ball have dreads now but damn only al harris's dreads are that long...break the scissors out
