NBA 2K13 soundtrack: what are you hoping to see?

Personally, I hope they keep the same intro song to the game. To this day, I look forward to mashing the "A" button to bypass the intro to 2K12.

Honestly, I totally would like to see something like TNT aired on opening night. That would be rad. And more classic rock, though it doesn't really fit in a basketball game (or just put Sirius back in the game for us Bulls fans).

Soundtrack wise, what are you hoping makes the cut, or what would you want in the game. (And it's a given Mr. Bieber will have at least 2 songs in the game and will be the All-Star Game halftime show performance, so you don't need to mention him.)

I want to hear music that we hear during the games on TV...

Like during the last minute or so of a close game, "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. During brief intermissions "6 Foot 7 Foot" (which has been played at almost every sporting event I've been to in the last two years.) Etc.

I hope 2K continues to provide a solid mix of a little bit of everything. I'm not a fan of games reserving the rights to songs that are already very popular. Those songs tend to grow old very quickly and there's a much better chance I am familiar with the song prior. Instead, I've actually really enjoyed learning new bands and tracks via 2K over the years. I particularly enjoyed 2K10's soundtrack. So, truly, I'm hoping they continue to provide an eclectic mix.

Hopefully 2K can squeeze in OS' own Sageinfinite. No gimmicks whatsoever. Straight hip hop and the intro voice of Da_Czar's in-depth breakdowns of 2K gameplay videos.

Just my opinion though.

I always turn it off, but I must say I really enjoy hearing Kurtis Blow's Basketball every time the game loads up.

I actually used to still sort of enjoy that song before 2K12 came out. When BowWow made his remix, that probably put my fondness of the original on life support. But once I picked up 2K12 and realized I'd be hearing it every. single. time. the game loaded up, I think I swore off Kurtis Blow for life.

Wale and J.cole are known 2k players, I think they could make a song because they actually play the game. But here are my songs I would love to see. Pete Rock & CL Smooth-TRoy. Black Sheep — The Choice is Yours . A tribe called quest-check the rhime Onyx - Slam. Man I really hope Justin bieber isn't in this game. If he is I might just have to buy live because of that lol. Also the J.cole song used in the derrick rose commercial should be in 2k13!!!!
