I like what EA is TRYING to do. The ideas are great and innovative, but as far as execution goes we'll have to see. Implementing an AI system based on statistics from Synergy is really cool and I can see why they're saying this is the future of basketball. I'm just saying if NBA 2K and Live merged together this would be the ultimate basketball simulation. 2K could handle the fluidity of the game and the core gameplay while Live focuses on presentation and detail.
