Ya the studio are nice to have but man there is a bunch and they repeat themselves all the time...

Last game I played they said "We have been watching this game all day" it was the first quarter lol. And then they went in to repeat that line about 4 more time for the same game

Played one full game using Oregon vs USC

Pros: Player reactions while the ball is in the air look more authentic and believable.
New QB/WR timing system allows for more 'coverage' sacks as your corners jam the receivers at the line.
As a blitzing linebacker i was able to get to the QB on several plays and either knock him down or sack him w/o beeing sucked into a guard or RB blocking animation. Guards actually came back up field on screens andcleared some space for La'Michael James as opposed to all running down field at the same safety 15 yards out.

Cons: Still same tackling animations we've seen since '06. Commentators are God awful which has yet to be improved. The QB dodge stick is awkward, maybe with time will feel better. I understand its a demo build but just please do something with the areas around the field ie. fans, security, camera men, BENCH. Just something will do. Also, would like the option to turn my head as QB/ pre-snap. Cant see the receivers or defenders wide out left or right pre-snap.

Up in the Air: Studio updates got annoying real fast for me. I hope my attitude changes as I will be in my own dynasty but where it stands right now, i could do without. Give me actual highlights of my own game with big plays on both sides of the ball and huge hits. Thats something i wouldn't skip over.

With all this being said. I am pre-ordering it today.

On the 360 controller, when I tap the pass button, it doesn't go high, it just comes out extremely slow. And pushing up does exactly what you say, make them go up field.

If this is the way they decided to "fix" the passing game it just comes off half-assed to me. They basically just tied the receiver to the ball placement instead of letting receivers dynamically adjust to where you place the ball. The reciever should have the ai to decide if he can jump for the ball instead of adjusting his route all the time. I'm not feeling that at all. The ball placement should not alter a receivers route they way it does this year. I had a feeling this would be a problem. That is the one thing I liked about 12 is how you could throw the ball high or low. Guess It'll be back next year, smh.

This has me the most excited about the game. Finally able to drop those dimes over a defenders head.

I will wait until I read some reviews on OS before thinking about picking the game up. I guess I expected more. The weight not mattering is problematic because it really doesnt matter if you put a wr at center he can still play effectively. Thats a hugh problem. You should be able to tell if your playing against a 5 star behemoth Left tackle like jake long as opposed to playing against a 5-10 200lb tackle. Recruiting OLinemen still wont matter.

The ESPN Game Track with Erin were removed from the demo but WILL make a return in the retail version of the game. Everybody receives a lot of Studio Updates in the demo but only because the games are using 3 minute quarters. Rest assured, you will have these updates spread out much more when you are playing on 5 min/ 10 min/ 15 min quarter games. Also, the ESPN Bottomline ticker won't be flashing score alerts every few seconds like they do on the demo. These will also be more spread out once you are playing on longer quarter times, so it won't be so distracting (some people have mentioned this as a worry for them).

wooo ok thanks for clearing that up. makes me happy to know that. i really do dig the studio updates so with that combined with the game track updates will make this a ton better for me since i'm a huge presentation guru haha.

I liked it alot! The wr, db, positioning and reactions when the ball is in the air is much better. The 430 new catch animations make a big difference, the wr actually jump for the ball now when its in the air. The ball trajectories make passing way better, and the qb drop backs, and throwing on the run is nice to. Using the R stick to move in the pocket actually works! Matt Barkley and that wr #2 are beast! I wasnt gone buy this game but for $45 I tihink I will buy this game for the first time in five years.

I really wish the would replace some of those scoring updates with highlights. I found myself skipping past the scoring updates after waching them a couple of times.

Ratings other than speed, unfortunately have never mattered in ncaa. There is no point in recruiting a LB who can bench a lot but may not be fast. His strength will not correlate to shed blocking etc. Its pointless.

It just feels like Mingo & Montgomery ARE dominant defensive ends who really generate pressure, where as the 3-4 guys in Kansas State don't generate as much pressure.
