Late hit called on the opening kickoff at 3:34 in the Patriots Giants game, pretty cool to see.

E3 ended yesterday I believe.

from what i have seen the RTP isnt overdone, i was worried it would be overdone and look way to extreme/cheesy, it doesnt look bad atm.

That Giants vid was discouraging. I realize those guys play competitively and the tactics like that work. However, I just hate the fact Madden allows people to be successful who rush 1 lineman and drop 10 in coverage, control a LB or safety and cover the entire length of the field covering pretty much every receiver. The guy played a 4-6 defense the entire game and made 10 pre play adjustment before every play.

This is completely random, but will we ever seen players helmet fly off? This game used to have so many cool little features that got taken out and don't understand why they were never brought back.

No the NFL wont allow that to happen. Stuff like helmet to helmet and helmets flying off will never be back in the game because it creates a bad image for the NFL so they disallow that to be recreated in the game.

I just watched some of that Zfarls video with Giants and Pats so I have a question for anyone that went to CE.

Did Madden 13 remove the mechanic where if on defense a User manually moves players all over the field, they automatically go back to their original spot when non-User controlled? Or did they take that out in M12 and I just didn't notice it?

Watching that video, they are manually moving defenders and they are staying put. Also, I will be heading over to the EAGC website to ask something be done about audibles and hot routes for Madden 14. There needs to be some kind of realistic communication represented so gamers can't play a sandlot game of football at the LOS, with every team and personnel.

As ridiculous as this is, it is probably true. Half of the retired players right now are trying to get money from the nfl for helmet to helmet type blows.

Pretty sad too. How can you not know hard hits can cause brain damage. I learned that when I was like 6 years old. Players today are soft. Pro's get paid millions of dollars(just like boxers)....what is next, flag football? If so, sign me up!

My question is this--they've added real time physics for actual gameplay and such, which improves the realism of the game. Why is it, then, that those real time physics can't be carried over into the post-play scenes of the players walking around, jogging to the line of scrimmage, getting into their stances on the line of scrimmage, etc.

I mean, on one hand, you have more life like, almost rag doll effect in the gameplay for tackles. But after the play ends, guy go back to moving and behaving like robots. It's visually jarring to me and looks downright unnatural.

I hate cheesing as much as anybody but until they step up their game with playbooks in a big time way....cough..cough..Tiered Play calling..cough

I would advise them to not take away more options from the user because they're worried about Online shenanigans.....People have already been ticked enough with Franchise Mode Subtractions....

100% agree! Post play player movement looks very stiff and unnatural. I would rather they limit the post play cut scenes. Instead just zoom straight to the playboik or huddle..

I understand that so that's why I suggested "communication representation", not a removal audibles or hot routing. If it's going to be in there, at least represent in better so it's not so simple to make countless seamless adjustments at the LOS.

I am talking about having a representation of QB's or defensive captains having to relay those adjustments to other players and accounting for players having to move around and reset with regards to full play change audibles. I hope people get what I am saying.

Physics are in post play. If you notice, sometimes players will trip over downed players and cause a really awkward pile-up. What you guys are talking about is just the animations in general.
