thats the thing, nothing is going to go away. when august comes, its going to be worse because everyone will see what it is missing. in order for madden to be ANY sort of success this year, the CC mode has to be completely flawless, the whole game for that matter. if there is problems, you might as well nuke the forums. and i feel like change has completely lost its meaning the last 10 years. oh and I thought this was funny:

this does not bug me at all, i have no problem with this, why would anyone want to control another team but there own is crazy. Also why would anyone want to control ratings in online franchise unless they want to cheat there way to 99 ovr guys... this game looks good, and I will be buying this game, instead of complaining you have a choice to buying the game or not buying the game, its your choice and no ones else....

The only problem I have with this game is you cant edit your gear on ur guys, and spec mode, so now ill wait for the demo to actually come out to really test this game...

why would you want to play other teams games? Perhaps to just experience playing as other teams, as many stadiums or being a fan of football in general. And as far as editing, it isn't just about ratings (although it's amazing that everyone who DOESN'T have a problem with this pulls the "make everything 99 rating" card when speaking about editing). You can't change player numbers, can't change equipment. So whatever equipment or number your rookies have thats it no changing it. If OchoCinco is traded to a team with a #85 you can't change anyone's number and Chad OchoCinco might be #87.

Just because they are things you don't use doesn't mean they are minimal.

What I don't understand is that Josh Looman worked on NFL Head Coach 09, which had a fantastic franchise mode. People were very excited when they were told that he was moving over to Madden.

Now he's tweeting "Franchise is dead." I don't get it.

But cmon, the whole " creating a superstar but if u get tired of him n decide to move on he gets deleted permanently but it doesnt happen with "real" players" doesnt seem a lil silly to yall, we should atleast have a choice if we want to do that or not..but obviously seein how dis year is going "choices" are hard to come by...its like a smack in the face..

i cant help but feel this was done purposely so that the user wont have any loopholes to use his created player in coach mode...why would you want to limit ppl like that...what if i want to play with another team..then go back to him later in his career...like why??...that one thing is just soooooo STUPID in itself, sorry it just is...

I have no problem with EA getting an exclusive deal with the NFL. That's smart business for them. What i do have a problem with though is them getting that exclusive deal and putting out subpar games and removing control from the users and basically giving us a big middle finger because they know you either have to buy it or you aren't playing an NFL game. Well i've been able to avoid buying it but it's frustrating that i can't buy an NFL football game because the only game out there requires me to play it 1 way, with their rosters.

In a time where games are giving users more control than ever, they decide to remove all user control. It's not like they just took away the ability to play as more than 1 team. They took that away AND the ability to use edited rosters or edit equipment AND the ability to play other teams games.

I see some people who say things in reference to people editing rosters and giving everyone 99s or playing other team's games so they can control who wins. The amount of people who use that ability for those things is the minority compared to those who just want to make rosters the way they like or give someone certain equipment or play other team's games simply because they want to play with other teams for variety. Point is, it doesn't matter if the user wants to make everyone a 99 or control who wins and loses. That is how they want to play the game.

Forcing people to play 1 way is ridiculous.

Right, you have to remember that in online dynasty in NCAA you can edit your rosters and give everyone a 99 (at least the commissioner can edit anyone's roster I belive). But people won't play with you if you pull stuff like that.

My point is, I think that they really just ran out of time to correctly implement editing rosters, multiple team control, etc. and it will be added in the future. However, I think it was a bad decision to implement things like twitter feed instead of editing players.

My point was EA will let people buy stuff like extra XP DLC and other enhancements over Xbox live we kinda saw some of this in madden 10-11 where you could keep you're player from retiring maxing out potential etc. I'm not sure why that would be a conspiracy theory seeing as EA has done it before.

Madden 13...now featuring:

No full customization of rosters.
No Editing of players in CCM
No Import Draft Classes
No 32 team control
No Fantasy Draft
No offline co-op play
No custom playbooks
No playing games except those of the ONE team you select for CCM

....I wish I had the gif of Bart Scott saying, "CAN'T WAIT."

They might as well just come out and tell the hardcore fans to go kick rocks! Lol
I always played all the playoff games as the lowest rated team, it made playoffs time seem "bigger". I am more concerned about the NFL as a whole and not just "my career". Now if CCM included "GM, OWNER, AND COMMISIONER modes then this would be awesome.

The more I hear about CC the more it seems like the devs honestly believe that every Madden player has one, and only one favourite NFL team.
Nobody has no particular favourite team.
Nobody has multiple favourite teams.

Not laughing at disappointed gamers but LMAO that if I just awoke from a 7 year coma, judging by these reactions I would believe next-gen was a stellar product up until now.

I just can't see, even considering the past options and features that weren't added, how anyone could feel M13 will not likely be the best one this gen. So I am a little surprised to see people that have bought every next-gen Madden or most of them, state they won't be getting this one.
