They won't put anything back in till they know it is working with 100% efficiency.

99% of people who edit rosters in Franchise mode did it for ONE and ONLY ONE reason: to keep the NFL realistically represented.

I also imagine that some people (not ALL of them, mind you, but a good portion...and they know who they are) are only arguing against those people who want the ability because they don't actually want the NFL accurately represented in Madden.

No one is arguing against people who want roster edits. There is nothing wrong with people editing rosters. The issue seems to stem from the argument "if you don't edit rosters, you aren't realistic or you are un Sim... Or not hardcore" I'm sure everyone thinks roster editing should be in the game. But its not, no amount of name calling and bickering is going to change that.

Why bring this up again? The guy already explained why he wrote that. It was a facetious reply to someone who was ragging on gamers who like to edit and play the game "their way."

My thoughts aswell, the demo was actually pretty good imo...what an epic fail on EA's part to remove that feature.

Yes, me, too. I will consider buying it if they patch this into the game. Thank goodness for sites like OS. Otherwise, I'd be in the dark on these goings ons.

It's just becoming all about selling us DLC. That's why you can get all the EA games on Amazon for these $45 promos. I do play online one-off games but I like my franchise to be my own little world not influenced by other users, that I can edit, play as multiple teams or create multiple players. Online franchise just dosent appeal to me.

They want us to go start playing Franchises online so we will start purchasing all their stupid booster packs that have popped up over the last few years. EA needs to do it like NBA 2K and MLB the Show. Have those packs available for those that want it but don't screw with loyal fans who like playing Franchise on our own. We are still giving you $60 every year.

Look what happened to Tiger Woods this year. I used to love that game, got it for $50 on Amazon promo only to find out that half of the game was locked and I needed to pay another $100 to access all the content. Fifa is like this to some extent and now it looks as if Madden is going down the same road.

I was scared that they would start charging us for custimazation soon. Now they have just eliminated it altogether.

I am not against new ways to play the game. EA could have easily kept the old franchise and put in the new one as well.

Lol yea, I actually played thru the entire game only expected to play a couple of snaps. I had 0 interest in the game but now it's on the top of my que list at gamefly.

I never really cared too much for the import option but NCAA added so much presentation that it will be hard not to connect with players throughout your dynasty..Now it's a "what if" he went to the NFL..

Yes the import feature was messed up but you could still easily edit the players...
