Exactly...but it still doesnt give you the right to say "its cheap, its only $5" to some that cant afford it...to me thats just wrong...and not in good spirits...just my opinion

How dare they make EXTRA money off of things that should be available as part of the purchase of the game.

Accurate Rosters should be available for free for Sports Games. And a way for the customers to keep rosters up to date should be available for free, like being able to edit your own rosters. Sharing rosters should be built into the game, we shouldn't even need a special service from Microsoft. You pay for the XBOX or PS3, you pay 65 bucks for the game. That should be enough.

Your completely missing the point...how the hell can the friend play in the league if he doesnt have ONLINE!!!!!!

You can say things are cheaper and give prices n etc but whether its $20 $10 or even $5...some ppl dont want to waste that on to play a game online...life is hard as it is for some ppl...i cant stand when ppl throw that "well its cheap, it only $5" ish out there...especially knowing just how hard it is for the avg person to make ends meet outhere is...

You're absolutely right on the bolded part, but I don't know that bypassing Microsoft's XBL for roster sharing is something that can be done (I could be wrong, but I haven't had a 360 for almost three years now).

I've never had one. I swore I'd never get a game console when I have a perfectly good computer. If I have a choice I always get a game on PC. It's ALWAYS better than the console, especially the ones with great free downloadable mods. But that Darn Red Dead Redemption forced me to finally break down and get a PS3. I had been looking for a good western video game for a long time. GUN was just to stupid for me.

Who says? I don't disagree with you, but companies doing things like this are not rare or exotic.

kinda but Not really, if i already spent 200+ on the console, 65 on the game...i think i spendin a good sum on gaming...but your right and thats the exact reason the market is dying...so yea, i guess im explaining the majority of ppl...its just not affordable to alot ppl these days...

I have GUN. Some of the Boss characters were too over the top. At the end you have to use the special arrows. Nomatter how many times you shoot the dude with bullites, it does no good.

I got more into RDR. I guess to each there own.

There is a much larger underlying argument that you are missing.

I'm fairly certain that anyone who can't afford $5 for an add on would be smart enough not to pay $60 for a video game.

I know the industry is going this way, I don't play anything other than sports games but read enough to know that other genres are costing more on top of the game price than ever.

The problem is things that have always been a part of the game no longer are and we aren't paying for extra maps or things like that.

I play a game like the show and know that the only things I would ever have to pay for would be add on's that arent necessary to game play.

Madden is taking things that have been a staple and either flat out removing them or saying you can still do it but you have to pay for it.

It isn't right and the "it's only $5" argument doesn't hold any water.

I'm confused. Are you saying that a console can only have 1 Live Gold membership to it? That's not accurate. Otherwise, my kids could access Netflix without having to sign is as me.

Or am I misreading the question?

You can only have ONE profile per console in offline/online profile. So there is NO WAY to play on the same console.

Actually online franchise ISNT the same as offline franchise. Online you can play a multiteam franchise. Offline you cant.

I thought I read somewhere in here that it's only one team per console/XBox Live ID.
