Honestly, my main gripe is that the text seems to small scale in Manager mode. I have about a 25-inch TV, so the text is small in comparison to my screen size, which isn't that big anyways.Celtics-17 Banners

Re: FIFA Soccer 13 Preview
This.It just adds another level to the game. Making that sick free kick for 34 yards out is amazing. But if I can't hear the crowd or commentators feel the difference between doing this in an MLS friendly and making the same shot in the 119th minute of a cup final, the experience falls short of its potential.
Just that extra hint of immersion could go such a long way.
Presentation draws you in and builds on the experience for me.
I think there needs to be a more robust form rating. As it is right now there are drops in confidence, team chemistry, or much change from one match to another outside of chemistry.Comment

Re: FIFA Soccer 13 Preview
I agree... I haven't gotten in to online yet much with FIFA 12 because I was late to the game. I would like to get on a full manual club or find a full manual league. I'm on ps3 stevostl so pm if anyone knows of any full manual clubs or leagues I can join for online. i'm not sure how many here at OS play fifa on ps3.. but if there is enough maybe we can start a full manual OS league on PS3 for fifa 13Full manual control is the only way to play a proper game of FIFA! It can be frustrating at times but it's so much more rewarding when you hit that perfectly placed though ball or place a shot just so. One word of advice, the game will be forever ruined should you choose to play full manual versus full assisted. Don't get me wrong, I can hold my own against assisted players but you'll experience the pain of getting robbed time and time again by the exploit-esque goals that go along with assisted controls. The best solution is to play other full manual players, it's an entirely different and more realistic game. Luckily, we've built up quite a large community of full-manual players, including several full-manual clubs.
btw.. alls i care about is if they focus on gameplay, manager mode, and online first before anything else when upgrading their game. all the other stuff should come after thatLast edited by steveeee; 06-15-2012, 10:22 AM.Comment

Re: FIFA Soccer 13 Preview
Anyone have news on any new international teams?
I'd like to see some more UEFA teams, like having the Czech Republic come back, and adding in Ukraine and Serbia. Also bring back Nigeria and add a few more African teams.Comment

Also, any new leagues? I love playing as different leagues in manager mode (which is hopefully improved as well).Comment

Am I the only one who thinks "players slowing down before running offsides" is a bad thing actually? Well, there's a reason why players are running down lanes full speed - so you can play the pass at the perfect time. If he's offside already, you missed the right time to pass the ball. No need to slow down.
Also, in terms of gameplay, I think the biggest problem of FIFA has always been the ball physics. While PES by the mid 2000's already produced a lot of variety on the pitch (and chaos in the box) due to a ball taking a lot of crazy bounces, FIFA always felt stale to me. Trying to "deliver unexpected moments" is going in the right direction."Ich werd mir jetzt einen Freund suchen, aber nicht so einen lasziven Publizistikstudenten, so an Owizahra, der den ganzen Tag nix tut, Fußball schaut und Bier sauft."Comment

He'll still make those runs, it just means he'll make them smarter

It's hard to claim that bad presentation makes a game 'poor'
Presentation is no doubt a component of what makes a game great, but first and foremost it's a game, if it's playing like a true football (soccer) game, that personally is more important than presentation, presentation is more-so taking it to the next level, unless they literally do a completely terrible job of it, the worst that can happen is I turn the volume off and listen to music.
I could never call a game poor because of bad presentation, but it does help elevate a game to the next level.
I'm surprised they haven't touched presentation considering the American Football emphasis on presentation this season, EA Sports tends to use a uniform wave approach to their games (Hockey/Soccer got physics, than Madden, than NCAA). Madden got connected careers, NHL is getting it and presumably so is FIFA and potentially NCAA.
Oddly enough presentation slipped their minds.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|
