Had a WEIRD demo experience today, first time I played it in a few days. I forced five Oregon fumbles, recovered three. Only to get sacked 6 times. I wanted to work on the passing game so I was calling only passes and the Oregon DLine rocked me. Ended up being a 13-7 win. I was baffled by some of the stuff happening.

I just want to highlight that the demo is on pro. I love the new WR DB interactions as much as the next guy but dont be surprised if the Ms Cleo defensive backs come back out on the higher difficulties.Comment

Agreed, but to be honest, not every game in the demo I play has the same level of "freshness", which is weird to me.I'm still surprised at how many people say they haven't noticed any difference in the gameplay.
I use to be in the same boat.. every NCAA has felt the same on the Next-Gen system.. this one feels completely different with the passing, DB/WR interactions and new animations.
Like Ill play a game and be amazed by how great the passing is and how well the dbacks/wideouts play, but next game I play will feel a little stale and I wont see too many new animations or interactions.
But overall Im happy.Comment

Why are the visuals so damn ugly on my ps3, looks horrible.Comment

After taking another look at mine (I thought it was decent) but they are a lil poor anyways, PS3 cuts their demo to make it smaller, it will be much better come release.Comment

Isn't the PS3's demo size bigger than 360's, though? It's like 3 gigs...Comment

I know NCAA historically looks and plays better on the 360, because it was made for that system and ported to ps3, but I was impressed with ncaa 11 on ps3, it was.clean for the most part. But I feel like it's taken a step back the last few years visually on ps3.Comment

That's been my experience so far, AA. Very impressed with the WR's and DB's interactions. The more I play the demo, the more I notice just how improved the WR/DB interaction.
I've seen some beautiful plays "both ways".
I've seen DBs make great reads, following the ball with their head the entire time, and either batting the ball away or picking it off.
I've also seen the WRs make great catches, with the DBs barely missing a deflection or a diving pick.
The amount of psychic BS and unreal animations are drastically reduced...DRASTICALLY..at least in my experience so far.
Correct, HUGE difference in my opinion!! The running and passing gameplay both feel much better than NCAA 12, especially passing. Seems that the WR's dont have a bad case of the drops this year. That bothered me so bad in 12. I have seen some drops but at least they make sense this year.I'm still surprised at how many people say they haven't noticed any difference in the gameplay.

I have only seen the AI choose offense ONE time on coin tosses and I have played maybe 15 games on the demo. An that's for any coin toss, not just OT.
If there's anything about this year's game that concerns me it's the AI's offensive decision making late in a game while behind in points. On several occasions they were running the ball on the last play of the game when it they should have been passing. I'm chalking that up to an early build or maybe the shorter (3 minute) quarters are throwing the AI off in the demo......that remains to be seen.
Overall, I am enjoying the game and can't wait for July 10th
