Thought I'd chime in with the maybe Charles Woodson. As of the recent OTA's, Woodson is still a slot CB.

I know you said maybe, just wanted to let everyone know the mindset of the Packers.

<s>@</s>Josh_Looman I understand... and I am excited for the improvements! I just hope a lot of that stuff is on the "to do list" instead of cut
Looks like you have to come to NCAA 14 with infinity engine 2.0 and all the editing in the world. At least it's comforting for me to know next year that I'll have a game I can fully customize with the improve physic engine

So sad but that's the only option you have now

I got to say that after watching some of the E3 coverage regarding the CC mode that my interests in this has returned. What I do hope for is that they leave the mode to create player nearing the end of your career in to give you a chance to make him a winner. EA spoke about this in a earlier build. I think that would be truly challenging if it made it to retail version

I'm gonna give it a shot because this is something different and they are really trying to amp up both the replay ability and the realism to a degree. While I do enjoy editing players and using NCAA draft classes, after a while things do get repetitive. I'll give this a chance but that's all it gets, a chance.

Fair enough I had read rumours earlier in the year and it seems a good fit since they lost Collins, my point tho still seems valid I was just trying to keep it to well known names

Your point is very valid, since even the Packers still don't know where Woodson is going to be. Really, it's going to boil down to who the best two cover corners are. T. Williams will be one. If one of the younger guys improve enough (Sam Shields, Davon House, etc) then Woodson will probably be moved to safety in the base D and to Nickel in the Sub packages.

I like your points in this but Hillis is not going back to fullback. Hes the #2 RB behind Charles and more than likely 3rd Down back.

Oh ok seems I made a mess of that post, hope it doesn't weaken my case, he was originally listed at fullback as a rookie on the broncos tho and a scrub at that

Thought Shields looked pretty good when I've seen him and in himself is another case for editing as his original ratings did him injustice (UDFA?)

This was the article I was referring to for the Charles Woodson theories or rumors.

Woodson himself said it will be the same as last year and McCarthy said there might be a 6 to 8% chance they change things up with Woodson this year.

My point was, he still lined up at slot DB for OTA's.

With Collins gone (sad that) safety looks thin, the best case for position changes I know is Lorenzo Alexander on my skins he's been listed at OG DT DE OLB and now ILB over the last few years and played some TE too , love the guy on special teams too

For the past 3 years they have been saying how next year's franchise mode will have all the things in it that we want and they will work.

Now we get to this year's game and we dont have franchise mode.....at all?

                          Of course im not buying.

Im gonna keep playing M12 and maybe even go over to NCAA.

Stop playing. CC IS franchise mode.

                              Wait, what?

I thought Connected Careers was the Madden equivalent to NCAA's "Road to the Heisman" and there would be a separate all-purpose Franchise mode?

Cc is a new limited version of franchise. There is no separate mode.
