Creating yourself as a recruit in dynasty?

If so how accurate do you plan to be? Personally I plan on creating myself and I plan on using as close to realistic skills, measurements and attributes that would be acceptable for a college football player.

For example: Im 5'7 1/2 in real life so in the game I would make myself an even 5'8, Position: CB played a tad bit in highschool (and this would be the only position i could realistically play at my size) WT: 155 real life, 165-170 in game this would be my real weight if i was still playing football, weightlifting, etc, Hometown: New Orleans, Preferred School: LSU (my current school and proximity), I haven't decided if I would make myself a 3 or 2 star recruit yet most likely the latter. Im gonna make a small effort to recruit myself since I will start my coaching carrer at a 1 star LA school like ULM or ULL, it would be cool to have my "son" come play for me but it would also be cool to see where I end up and how I develop at another school, whether i could make it to the pros or not.

How bout you guys do you plan on making yourself accurately or will you create yourself as a 6'5 230 4.2 speed 5 star qb that is sought out after by all the big schools.

I'm totally unrealistic. I'm a slow fat, white guy. I generally use my real height (6'0), but I adjust the weight depending on what position I want him to be. If it's a RB or safety, it's 210 or so. If it's a FB or LB, 235. CB or WR, about 190. Also, I make myself an instant impact player(5*, 80+ overall rating)

I dont create myself as a recruit, but I created myself on my TB team that I make with all my friends on it. I go with the realistic route. This is last year's ratings:

      Pos: QB
      YR: Fr
      HT: 5'8
      WT: 160
      Spd: 86
      THP: 72
      THA: 75
      OVR: 67

I always create a senior game manager QB that I back up the first year. I usually use me in a Tebow role and use formation subs so I am the QB doing the read options and options the first year. I also play some RB and WR just to get me on the field until it is my time to start. I played alot of positions growing up and didnt start playing strictly QB until 3 years a go so I am pretty much an all round athletic time of QB.

Each and every year I make myself on the base OS roster once I download it onto Rutgers as a player that can play eith DB OR WR. Last year I found 5 wide formations that allowed me to sub myself in as a CB into the slot.

I usually put my real height (6'1") but add about ten to 15 pounds from my actual weight....and the predator dreads since I actually DO have some crazy predator dreads.

i create my future progeny, and i entered my name in a couple years ago when they were asking for submissions, so the game says it too

If I did create myself I would have to go with the 6'3'' 190lb WR than ran an electronic 4.52 40. Not the 30 year old 6'3'' 235 lb married/lazy version who hasn't ran a 40 in years.

Re: Creating yourself as a recruit in dynasty?

I usually just take a freshman recruit and change his name to mine, leaving all the attributes alone. If I actually create myself, I'm 99 in all areas across the board.

I always try to be realistic, unfortunately that would most likely make me a 1 star recruit. I'm fast, but I was just never good at football. Atleast if I were to make myself I would be the only school who would pursue me.

I'd recreate myself but I don't think the ratings go low enough for it to be realistic.

Re: Creating yourself as a recruit in dynasty?

If I was accurate (which I would be if I ever did create myself as a recruit), my stats would go something like this:

                      WR

                      Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 165 (I actually weigh about 140-145, but that's with me not working out as hard as I should)

                      Speed: 82-85 (Last 40 I ran I managed a 4.68)

                      Accel: 85-88

                      Catch: 75-77

Catch in Traffic: 60 (I don't do so well with contact...I mean I'm not a big guy lol)

                      Route Running: 79-82

I always make myself as a recruit, but never recruit myself. I like to see where my guy goes, and I follow his career throughout my dynasty. I always make a realistic player, usually 2 or 3 stars. I make him a WR, because thats what I play and try to keep the attributes on par with myself. Great hands, slightly below average speed, good awareness, good route running.

i think ill make my self as a coach and take on a small 1 or 2 star team and make my son a 3 or 4 star player to take over my team and hopefully we will ride his coat tails all the way to the top

As a LSU fan, how did he not come to mind first?

                            6'2

                            85-95 Jumping

Sad thing is, this is realistic and I played OL and DL my entire HS career. When I should have been the starting safety.
