What is your playstyle?: Gillespie was recruited as a dribble-driving, pass first distributor by EMU. Because of the team's other options on offense, he worked extremely hard throughout his college career to develop a solid jumper. Eventually he figured out his mid-range game, he put it all together in his senior season and averaged 18.2 ppg with 10.1 assists/game. Gillespie led the Eagles to a Sweet Sixteen birth in this year, with upsets over the 3 seeded Georgetown Hoyas and 6 seeded Michigan Wolverines by averaging 25/10/4 (points/assists/steals) in the tournament.

His jumper is smoother now than it was at the beginning of his career and his passing is just as crisp as it was the first day he walked on campus. Gillespie broke EMU records for most career assists, the most assists in a season, and the highest per-game average assist number as well.

Re: Amped's NBA 2K12 CAP Dynasty

Hey guys, so I have already started a NCAA to Madden 12 dynasty that is going pretty good, and after a while I would like to get one started for NBA 2K12. What I plan to do is sim the first season, put in the draft class with Anthony Davis and all those guys, sim the next season then input maybe a top 5 or top 10 draft:

      Vitals
Name (Don't get crazy with it, just put a normal, semi-normal name i.e. Apple Pie is not a name.):Harlee James
Position (Secondary if you have one):SF/PG
      College:Ohio State
      Birthday: February 3rd 1993
      Jersey Number:23
      Dominant Hand:Right
Play Types (Isolation, P&R Ball Handler, P&R Roll Man, Post Up Low, Post Up High, Cutter, Mid Range, 3 Point) - Be realistic, you don't have to have 4 play types, you can have 1 or 2 if you want.
      Play Type 1:Isolation
Play Type 2:Pick and Roll Ball Handler
      Play Type 3:Midrange
      Play Type 4:

      General
      Height:6'8
      Weight:260
Skin Tone (1-6, 1 being lightest and 6 being darkest):1
      Eye Color:Blue
What is your playstyle? (TWhat was he good with in college? Was he a pure scorer like Jimmer or a pass first like Kendall Marshall? Is he an athletic freak like Dwight Howard or does he just grab boards and shoot 3's like K Love? Create a story or type some attributes that your CAP is specifically good with.): Harlee James does so many things on the floor but if you had to sum it all up into one word it would be playmaker. Harlee plays in the mold of LeBron James, he can get to the rim at will, he is freakishly athletic, he plays good man defense and can guard the 4 if needed. His jumpshot isn't there yet but it has time to develop. His height and leaping ability allow him to get rebounds. At Ohio State in his Freshman year he led the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and blocks all on the way to a National Championship victory.

Brandon also shot 90% from the Free Throw line. He shot 60% from the field not because he was a good scorer but because he averaged 8-of-12 shooting. He averaged 13 assist per game. Standing at 6'3 he has the ability to throw it down with the best of them.

Mendon is a PG in the mold of Steve Nash. Trained by the same man that taught Nash how to shoot, Mendon has one of the sweetest strokes in the draft this year. However, what really sets him apart is his ability to find teammates. Despite his shooting prowess, he generally doesn't try to shoot the ball unless it's a good look, and he usually tries to pass when he drives. He's absolutely a pass-first point guard. Defensively, he will rarely get you steals and will probably never record a block. His leaping ability is lack-luster, but he makes up for it with good speed and above-average quickness. Despite the fact that he won't record steals and blocks, he has a very high IQ on both ends of the floor and does a nice job of playing man defense and staying out of foul trouble.

Double J is Ray Allen type player. Very good 3 point shooter (like Jimmer - he got really nice range and he scores 3s from almost every spot on the court) and pretty nice midranger. He can also create shot for himself, especially on picks. Quite good in D, maybe he doesn't record many blocks or steals, but he prevents his enemies from scoring. He's big city type of guy, he likes to be on front pages, for him - the show must go on. On court - Sugar Ray, other places - The Answer. Number 39 stands for his mother birthday date (day/month)

                What is your playstyle?
Bob Bolig is a defensive specialist. While he can put the points up if he's under the rim, he's not a good shooter. He can dunk the ball on anyone because of his size, but he's not going to pull up anywhere on the court and shoot. He's an extremely physical defender who overpowers those who come down on him due to his size and strength, coming up with big blocks or outplaying them for the rebound. The downside to his physicality is fouls. He will get into foul trouble a lot more than others. He floats around as an average free throw shooter. When he's on, he's on. But when he's off, teams go right to the "Hack-a-Shaq"-technique, which was extremely effective in college. On top of that, sometimes he seems to take plays off when forced to get back on defense because of his size. He'll jog back to his defensive position, trying to reserve energy for later in the quarter.

He's decided to come out for the 2013 Draft.

What is your playstyle? Earl Robinson is an freak of nature most comparable to Kevin Garnett. Pulls down boards easily, and has mild mid range jumper. Jumps high hustles like KG blocks like Bill Russell. Wasn't recruited heavily because he was thought to have attitude problems (99 emotion) but when he got the chance from a big school like UCLA he packed his bags and moved from Baton Rouge to Los Angeles where he quickly excelled. College Averages:13ppg 14rpg 4bpg.

What is your playstyle? A freakishly athletic, agile big with decent mid range. Amazing defender who blocks like Anthony Davis and rebounds like Dwight Howard. Has tremendous potential. His low post game is very good for a young big.
Has shown the ability to hit the 3 from time to time and is a great free throw shooter

What is your playstyle? Hines of Texas is a very good offensive player who loves to play with his back to the basket where he is capable of really dominating defenders in the low blocks with his very skilled post up game, it's really a guessing game when trying to figure out which move he will go to down low. He is also able to hit the mid range jumper with some efficiency, teams won't have to gameplan for it but they need to be aware of this aspect to his game. If there is another aspect recruits and scouts rave about Hines's game and that is his ability to rip down rebounds, he really enjoys crashing the boards on offense and defense. But with all these good traits comes the down sides, Hines is not a great shot blocker, even with his decent athletic ability he won't get you a crazy amount of blocks. He has no business shooting the 3 ball ever, and he is a pretty poor free-throw shooter ("Hack a Shaq rule anyone?"). If I had to compare him to a NBA player, I would say he reminds me of Tim Duncan just not as good of a jump shooter and shot blocker.

                          Free Agency Star Signings

Chris Paul (Indiana Pacers) 4 Year, $26.50M Deal

Jeremy Lin (Cleveland Cavaliers) 4 Year, $44.56M Deal

With this year's 2 big names thrown out in Free Agency, Lin was the first taken out of the 2. Jeremy Lin came out late last season and blew up. The Cleveland Cavaliers decided he would be a good fit in letting Irving still develop as a young starter while he comes off the bench still putting up points while the young man rests.

Chris Paul actually held out too long until the season started, so the Pacers got a great deal in having him for four years. Now with the Bulls in their division, they can finally threaten for that top spot in the Central. Finally, people get to see Chris Paul vs. Derrick Rose 4 times a year for the next 4 years!

Nice update Amped, can't wait to see the draft and where all the CAPs end up. Fingers crossed that I have some options on offense to help my PG out haha...tough to be a distributor with nobody to pass it to!
