Force trade players on Road to The Show?
Is it possible to force trade another player on Road to The Show? For example, I'm on either my 2nd or 3rd year, and Stephen Strausburg was traded to the Red Sox. Maybe that could happen in real life, but I highly doubt it. Is it possible to manually trade him back?

Heh - Road to the Show always ends up a never ending cycle of Texas and Boston dynasties for me. Been that way since 10.
They win almost every World Series and keep getting more and more cash. In the context of this game, that trade is not that crazy lolComment

It's pretty crazy. Unless he blows out his elbow or shoulder again, he's not going anywhere. Why would Washington trade a young, potential ace for years to come? I know it's a video game so it doesn't worry but that much, but I HIGHLY doubt Washington is trading him in the near future.Comment

Oh don't get me wrong, dude - I'm not arguing. But since my experience playing regularly since MLB 10, Boston almost goes on an every other year World Series win and get to continue the cycle by cherry picking players throughout the league.
It's nuts.Comment

On mine they traded him to my rays for Hellickson. As soon as I was eligible for free agency, I left because it wasn't fun anymore. I was maxed out thanks to free RTTS points SCEA gave out, and we had Longo, Starlin Castro, me, Jennings, strausburg, moore, shields, Farnsworth, and that's just to name the guys that made all star game every year. We won like 4 or 5 WS in my 6 years there, and after my first 2 seasons, I had to sim the rest because it was so unfun. We won like 120 games in a season! They kept strausburg for my whole career though. What did red sox trade to get him in yours? It's pretty crazy. Unless he blows out his elbow or shoulder again, he's not going anywhere. Interesting. In the two years of my franchise the Reds beat the Yankees the first year and the Yankees beat the reds the second year. I wonder if this will turn into a cycle.Comment
