Re: NCAA Football 13 Demo Is Out, Post Your Impressions Here
The lack of a true accelerated clock for both teams in a game at this point is inexcusable. Madden has had it for a few years now. Why can't we? Stats get all out of whack because of it, especially if you play a no huddle team.Comment

Obviously adding the infinity engine would have been a major plus, and like I've said in other threads (and this one, I think) there's no excuse for it.Why on earth would anyone "lie to to themselves" about a video game?? Some like it, some don't. Don't take this personal. My feeling and impression, as is many others, is that the game is stale with no major improvements. If they had installed the Infinity Engine, than to me that would have been a major improvement. If they had redone the commentary, that would have been an improvement. Tweaking the passing game, which was long overdue I might add, is not an "overhaul". Again, just another marketing term for the sheep to follow.
Carry on.
But you'd put redoing commentary over what they've done to the passing game? You must be trollin'. This is the most fun I've had passing in a football game since I can remember. Not even 2K's passing felt this balanced and well thought-out.
But yeah, it's not important. It's just a major aspect of the game of football. Yawn. What I really want is MOAR SUNSHINE SCOOTER!

I agree. It's crazy that there isn't feature parity for these 2 games. Not much else to say.Comment

Because somebody disagrees with you its trolling?? Again, why does the opinion of others bother you soooo much about this game? "Yawn"...lol. Glad you're enjoying the "overhauled"....cough, cough...tweaked passing game. And yeah, because the passing game was FINALLY tweaked, they could have updated the stale commentary that has been there for what? This entire generation. But EA has decided not to do that. What did we get last year? 3D grass on replays and dreadlocks....yippeee! Oh yeah and team specific mascots before the game. Awesome!! For the record, I've probably logged in more hours and have purchased more titles of this game since the late 90's than you could even imagine. It's stale and the sales numbers for this gen prove it. And over the past several years, EA NEVER has enough time to install the major overhaul that is needed. Like the Infinity Engine. Classic example. So now I'll return the favor because I don't have the time to purchase last years game again.Obviously adding the infinity engine would have been a major plus, and like I've said in other threads (and this one, I think) there's no excuse for it.

Sheep...meaning the same people that buy into the pre-release/demo hype and then blindly run out and buy the game each year. They then post their impressions of the game for the first month with comments like..."best game ever....solid 10/10". No problem. To each their own and its actually entertaining to watch
But those are the people that EA counts on. I used to be one of them. Then all of the bugs and old nuances will creep up. Then these same people will be in the sliders forum and the bugs forum and the patch forum trying to find solutions to obvious game play flaws that have been there since the next gen consoles came out. Then the comments will turn into.."how could EA let this happen, don't they test the game before release?" or "this is game is broken and unplayable!" Rinse and repeat. So yeah...."sheeps" to the slaughter. So what's wrong with me stating the obvious? I'm doing nothing more than what I've and many others have experienced and witnessed over the past years and what other paid reviewers have said about this title for the past several years. Just calling it the way it is.

For someone who is condescending enough to call someone "a moth to EA's flame," you sure do have little to say.Sheep...meaning the same people that buy into the pre-release/demo hype and then blindly run out and buy the game each year. Right! It might make it into next years "update". Sure hope EA can find the time to put that it in.

Again kiddo, that's where you fail in your comprehension by taking negative comments I originally stated about a video game you happen to like "personally". Where did I say someone? I used broad generalizations to characterize the blind masses that EA counts on every year. Everyone knows it because its sales and marketing 101. And truth be told, I only made those comments after you replied under my original post when talking about my experience with the demo. There's nothing wrong with that except for the fact that it bothered you and no one else.....lol!
Keep trying.....you may get there.Comment

It sounds like you have a passion for hating NCAA. Honestly if you're not going to be helpful then don't come here and try to start fights over the net.Again kiddo, that's where you fail in your comprehension by taking negative comments I originally stated about a video game you happen to like "personally". ^ Well anyone who comes into an "impressions" thread and has resort to name calling and trolling, clearly has an agenda. Whether it's attacking the game or another poster, you be the judge.
With that said, I haven't seen a lot of new impressions these past few days. I guess that's what happens when the demo drops two weeks earlier than normal.

Why don't you look back at my original post and see from there how this started? How was my original post any different from what others that see it the same way starting a fight? That post was not directed at anyone but were only general comments regarding MY opinion of the demo. "Someone" obviously didn't like it and its gone on from there.
Its obvious however that my opinion matters to the herd. Stampede!!!
