Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
It's never failed me, but being a Prime member is definately the way to go. It's $79 a year, but you get Free 2 Day shipping and Release Day shipping. Plus all kinds of other savings. IComment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Same here as far as HUT goes, it's a disgusting cash grab. I find myself stuck playing EASHL since the offline portion gets boring quickly but hopefully that will change this year.Pittsburgh - 2009 City of Champions! YES WE DID!Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
I fully support Amazon for at least 75% of my purchases - definitely all my games are purchased from Amazon.Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Yep amazon is extremely credible for release day and honestly with everything because they cater to their customers. For the past 2 years I have been using amazon nonstop. I think I'm addicted. The pre-orders are awesome, it's cheaper, and you get a crap load more money for used games. Hell I got a PS3 on amazon for $120 because I signed up for their credit card for $40 of free amazon money (never activated the card) and I also traded in like 3 or 4 9 month old games for at least double what gamestop would have given me. I'm not a huge fan of playing games on the PS3 but the fact I had to get The Show and wanted a Blu Ray player, I couldn't pass up the deal.
It's too bad I don't play HUT, EASHL or online at all otherwise these pre-orders would be a thing of beauty. I would love to buy the collectors addition as well but they just don't offer anything I'm interested in due to all of the online stuff. Online players have to be pumped about this though.NHL-Minnesota Wild

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Some of you guys should find a new hobby. Considering what dev budgets are these days, I have no problem spending 60 dollars on a game that will bring me hours upon hours of enjoyment over the course of months or in some cases years.
Beats spending 20+ to go see a movie for 2 hours and it ends after that.
Ya, but, let's face it.... if you found a temporary price drop to $40, you wouldn't snatch it up? You'd go up to the counter and tell the clerk that you'd prefer to pay the full price? Not realistic.Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Duh obviously. How often do you find good new releases on sale though? It's generally the ones that either aren't selling well, or are getting terrible reviews and press that drop to 40 right away.Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Well who here knew about the Canada's Best Buy offer? $10 off when you preorder + 800 reward points (technically $10)
So that makes it 40$+tax approx. I'm still regretting on that deal so I might just wait for Black Friday (it's usually on sale right cause i got NHL 12 for $40 then??) & just preorder PES 2013 (same deal went to PES too as for NHL).Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
Did you just "duh" me? hehe..... Actually there were some deals on The Show for under $50 if you caught them at the right time. So, it happens.Comment

Re: NHL 13 Pre-Order Offers
slickdeals.net from time to time. But don't try to post something or reason with the shop-a-holic nut jobs. They'll burn you because the deal you posted is 0.13 worse than something they just found at the satellite Wal-Mart store that's open only from 2AM to 6PM.Comment
