Ya, I guess we should be excited about this getting fired up in a few months...honestly, I have very low expectations going into this year. I keep hearing people talk about UF as a dark horse for the SEC, but I just don't see the talent on the offensive side of the ball to believe it.

IMO, a successful season would be 10 wins, a big bowl game win, and some playmakers emerging on offense. I expect something like 8-5/9-4 with a lot of the losses being close. Here is how I see the schedule breaking down:

Bowling Green - W
@ TAMU - L
@ UT - Toss Up
UK - W
Open
LSU - L
@ Vandy - W
USC - L
UGA - Toss up
Mizzou - Toss up
Louisiana - W
Jacksonville State - W
@ FSU - L

That's 5 wins, 4 losses, and 3 toss ups. Yes, I expect us to lose at TAMU to start the SEC schedule. Just going to be another rough year imo...

I'm thinking 9-4 with losses to LSU,USC, UGA, &FSU. Probably. 2nd or 3rd in the east. Looking like a Cap 1 or outback bowl type of season. But that's be a major improvement from year 1 in the muschamp era.

I've watched 2 years of pure crap from Florida and I really believe this is the year we step up....

Our defense will/should be top 5-10 again and who ever wins the Qb battle is a upgrade from Brantley. Will also be improved on the O-line and are looking to be more of a downhill running game with Gillislee an company. Our Wr's are a mystery but always have been but Debose should be a go to guy.

I know it's all talk but I really think we will surprise some people and will knockoff someone a team that nobody gives us a chance to win. We were so close last year to beating USC, UGA, and FSU and it's been forever since we have actually beatin a top #25 team it will happen this year.

Our passing game is going to be terrible and gillislee won't be able to run for much against the tough SEC defenses. 6-8 wins. I posted my predictions for the whole year in my latest blog on OS. Check it out.

Brissett had a better spring anyways. He was the favorite to get the job.

Of course this happens the day Muschamp took off the QB no contact jerseys.

Brissett may have had the edge going into the fall though. Who knows. This will settle the QB competition though. For now...

Why would you ever take off the red jersey so close to the season starting . That's just crazy to me.

I think he can get it done. For some reason, I feel like he's going to evolve into a pretty darn good football coach.
